An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

So I have an interesting situation... I am not sure what exactly is wrong... So I set my server up on Shockbyte, added a few mods... IN MY HOUSEHOLD, I have my work laptop where I downloaded BMC2 and got it all set up for the client. I then copied my folder onto a usb and put in on our 4 gaming systems. We can connect with no issues here. BUT, my sister in law is having issues. I sent her my folder to toss into her minecraft folder and had her install Fabric 0.14.24 for 1.20.1. She can log into the server, and the server disconnects her within seconds. This is the log she sent me. Says Minecraft launcher was just updated 3 days ago?

Because the console told me i need fabric loader 0.14.21. But when i chose the default 0.14.21. that changed the mc version to 1.20.1
So i manually downloaded mc 1.19.2 with fabric loader 0.14.21 as jar and now its working

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

We are currently playing **Better MC BMC1 Fabric 1.19.2 **on a server with the
Server pack v19.5

We played the Forge version before and quests were going well without any configuration.

But on this fabric version,** our quests are missing, the quest "book" is empty.**

When I open my inventory, I can clic on the book on the left corner but only the name "Modpack" appears on top, no quests.

Are we missing something or Is there anything to do in game or on the server to access quests ?

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

My issue is I can't load my world. I was playing today and had a low framerate. Not unusual but it was lower and more consistent than usual. I closed the game and decided to restart my computer instead. Well apparently it went through an update. Booted up the modpack again and when I tried loading the world it said "Unable to access (world name)" So I went back to the list of worlds and it wasn't there. Closed out, and reopened it, same thing happened so I came here to seek help.

In my defense i didnt know prominence existed until after downloading Better MC.

If i knew prominence existed beforehand i would have used it as the base modpack.

I was just browsing fabric modpacks (as my friends wanted fabric not forge) for 1.20.1 and i knew Better MC Forge from 1.16 i think? So i was curious what changed

And i started off with the vanilla+ experience, but slowly added more mods as i wanted to expand the things for me and my friends to do given as i was paying a lot for the server and wanted it to last a long time

Eventually it was more than 100 extra mods and i had to do a lot of configuring to get it all to work but i got it to work just fine

I couldnt port the server world to prominence due to losing progress and causing corruption with ID’s and stuff, so i just imported Prominence mods over to the scuffed modpack which was a modified Better Mc2 fabric V19,

Lastly just importing the quests with FTB quests, as well as importing Botania quests from AoF6 since I got Botania early access for 1.20.1

And like, yeah. The server works fine. There isnt any bugs really, and everything works.

The quest menu having missing textures is a minor inconvenience that i’d like to fix because I have OCD and it bothers me, but I can honestly live without it being fixed as its just a visual thing and doesn’t affect gameplay

You have to be online in order for other players to join for world sharing and for hosting a server you dont.

The performance will also be better if you host the server
