They are diferent modloades, so they have diferent mods, but the creator or “BMC” tried to put the most similar mods posible

No modifications have been made - using curseforge - 1.19.2 - V19.5 - Open a new world, after about 1-5 seconds it crashes, - yes I played and it let me go on as normal. the next day I started getting exit code 6 - and I just ran throught the performance guide, same problem

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

Good evening all, just updated my Better MC personal server from version 15 to version 18 and copied the config and mods folder however when i am in the server all of my personal waystones arent showing on the map anymore. all the village waystones i discovered are showing just not the ones i placed, i tried replacing them but still no luck. anyone else having this issue?

I Did. It installed just fine before and the recipes let me view them. but i since added a few extra mods, and it still worked. but the world got corrupted and I had to reset the world on the server (due to a corrupted chunk, not a mod)

and now on the new world i get the REI failed to synchronize with server

and i tried with bisect. for the entire day

i did. And the guys at the ticket have broken my server 3 times trying to help fix it. every passing day i feel like im wasting money because like.... this is a server breaking issue, and i am paying for a broken server that isnt being fixed, and thus nobody wants to play on it, and thus its essentially as valuable as a rock to me rn. except a rock that i am throwing $80.00 a month at. I have been very patient but this issue has persisted for days and I have sent over 100 messages to tickets back and forth by now.

The problem is that REI/JEI/NEI/ Whatever, doesnt work on the server. and as its a modded server, people NEED THIS to see the recipes. otherwise you quite literally.... dont know what to do and cant progress.

It works fine on singleplayer though.

It keeps giving me an error message on the server "REI: Failed to Synchronize Recipe Data with server" or something like that.

I have tried every fix people have recommended to me. from mods that increase the packet size, to reinstalling the entire pack (THREE SEPERATE TIMES), to changing from REI to JEI, to EMI, to using the default recipe book, to messing with config files, and syncing the config files with the server and client making sure they match,

I have tried uninstalling mods and installing mods, I have tried so so much......

Furthermore, I have had other issues with my server and my server had to have its location moved 3 seperate times due to problems with the machines the server was hosted on.... multiple times..... which is really annoying.........

it went from new york, to another server in new york, to new jersey. And then it acted up a bunch on new jersey, the world got corrupted a few times, and I had to reinstall the pack over 5 times myself to fix some stuff, and then again with the REI/JEI/EMI/NEI issue the helpers at the ticket reinstalled the pack another 3 times, further breaking and corrupting the server world, thus leading to me having to fix it by using a backup, which lost progress on the server. Because i only get a limited amount of backups and i am scared that if i wait to long it will overwrite the world and I will lose so much progress and my friends will be mad at me

And yet after all of this, the issue still persists.

REI wasnt acting up days ago but it only begun acting up recently after the server was moved to New Jersey and i do not know why.

i think there is a conflict between "Meadow" and "Oh The Biomes You'll Go".
Meadow adds the "Watering Can" which needs Pine Planks (made from pine log). However, Oh the Biomes You'll Go seems to replace all Pines with a own version which can't be used for the Watering Can.

I've got some questions and I can't find these answers. When I download the server pack i've got a zip, If I unzip it and put the folders in the minecraft folder for replacing, it doesn't work. If I let it in the mod folder in zip, it doesn't work. Can somebody help me? How must I do?

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

4. If the output isn't as intended, you have 2 options.
   i) Delete ALL other java versions from your PC (ONLY recommended if you don't need them)
   ii) Redirect your launcher/server to use your new installation of Java

Method i

1. Uninstall any other java program listed in your programs list (differs by OS, please find a guide for your own OS if you don't know)
2. Attempt to re-use the command mentioned above (if the output is now correct, which it should be, you are ready to go)

Method ii

1. For a server, please modify the $Java/JAVA variable (found in your startup script depending on ps1/sh) to the path of your java installation. For windows, this path is usually found in "Program Files/Eclipse Adoptium/version_of_java/bin"
2. For a client, depending on whether you use CurseForge, GD, or AT, the process is slightly different. Please see a guide for each respective launcher on how to change the java version.
