4. If the output isn't as intended, you have 2 options.
   i) Delete ALL other java versions from your PC (ONLY recommended if you don't need them)
   ii) Redirect your launcher/server to use your new installation of Java

1. Uninstall any other java program listed in your programs list (differs by OS, please find a guide for your own OS if you don't know)
2. Attempt to re-use the command mentioned above (if the output is now correct, which it should be, you are ready to go)

Method ii

1. For a server, please modify the $Java/JAVA variable (found in your startup script depending on ps1/sh) to the path of your java installation. For windows, this path is usually found in "Program Files/Eclipse Adoptium/version_of_java/bin"
2. For a client, depending on whether you use CurseForge, GD, or AT, the process is slightly different. Please see a guide for each respective launcher on how to change the java version.

I don't know where I went wrong. For the server, I reinstalled it then I put it in version fabric 1.19.2. Then I went in the modpack manager tab where I could add better mc fabric 1.19.2.

For the client, I installed the curseforge client, then I went to look for the better mcfabric modpack which corresponds to the server version

Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask for help.
So I created my own server on modpack BetterMC fabric on Oracle Cloud VPS just to play with my friends. It’s working almost great, there isn’t any problem with performance or something like that but we managed to find one problem. So my friend created a Twilight Forest portal when he went into portal server just crashed.
(crash report: https://mclo.gs/uJJpnXV).
Later on I created another Twilight Forest portal in other places in overworld and it worked just fine (at least when I was flying around on creative mod). So after checking crash reports I think there is something wrong with generating structure (I’m not 100% sure. Last time I was playing modded minecraft was like 6 years ago). Also I was looking at google for answers but I couldn’t find anything (maybe there was something but I couldn’t find anything so sorry if there is somewhere obvious answer to that).

Answering more info:

1. No I haven't modified modpack in any way.
2. All players use Curseforge
3. 1.19.2
4. v16.5 Fabric
5. Exploring twilight forest or entering that one specific portal (it seems like when entering that specific portal there is that generated structuer that cause server to crash)
6. Like I said there was other portal that doesn't crash the server but when I started exploring more it crashed sooner or later,
7. Server Crashes, not the client / modpack / user. This is the crash report from server: https://mclo.gs/uJJpnXV)
8. On our VPS we have Java 19 (not 18 like there is said in FAQ) - Is this what might cause the problem?
   Like I said, the problem is from the server side not client. When player enters Twilight Forest it looks like it cant generate one structure (logs) so it crash. I allocated 12GB of ram for server (There is only 2-3 players max at the same time so I don't think this is problem with ram).
   Anyone know an answer to fix that?

Giving it Ore Blocks and for them to give you a big amount of the ore in exchange of food would make a lot more sense, you still would be getting more ore than usual, and it's because the Goblin is skilled

When I say big amount, I mean bigger than smelting the ore, bigger than breaking it yourself, and a more reliable amount than using Fortune

That's an idea if you are taking them at this time of the day, that change would be done with a datapack

What I like about this idea is that it reintroduces the usefulness of Silktouch on Ore Blocks as opposed to using Fortune and compacting the ores

hello, is there a mod in this pack that causes houses to spontaneously combust?? i was building a roof out of netherbrick rooftiles and when i climbed down to see my progress, the entire living room was on fire and i cannot for the life of me work out what could have caused it... do netherbrick roof tiles cause wooden house interiors to spontaneously combust?

1. I have modified the pack by adding some mods:

• better animals plus
• Simplyswords
• better combat
• player animation
• diagonal Fences
• betther third Person
• Camera Overhaul
• Travelers backpack

I'm playing with the Stylized texture pack 64 and complementary shaders.

I also have remove the "additional structures" because it caused me to have crash a bit in the same way that i have now, by approaching a certain area and i saw that it was coming from this mod. I've been playing a lot in this world since with no issues until now.

I haven't changed any config appart for some keybind, and didn't updated the mods provided in the modpack

2. I use curse forge to launch my game

3. i'm playing on the 1.19.2

4. I was playing on the v15 of betterMC fabric and i just updated it today to v16.5 in hope it will correct the issue, but no.
   

5. The steps are, i'm approaching a village, i have bad omen, i have to cross a river to go to the village so i use a boat. Raid indication appears. Crash happens when i'm in approach of the village. 
   

After updating to v16.5 i saw a big performance improvement so i up the chuck distance to see how it would run, and i have the crash. Report say it's also from dungeon arise, so i guess it's loading the same village area from much far away.

6. I haven't been able to approach that village, but i haven't tried without bad omen and the raid going on. I don't know how to get rid of bad omen ?

7. I've provided the crash report and latest log file.

8. I just read the performance guide and i guess i should try with other launcher,
   For the performance subject, i've 64 G DDR and allocated 48 to play minecraft, i've never come close to reaching it when i look at the ram usage with F3.
   I9 10900K RTX 3090

If i'm missing something and i need to provide more informations, i'm open.

I'm having some trouble hatching the dragon egg. I've fought void shadow and got the fame effect but I'm a little confused on what to do now. The book mentions building a nest but it's not clear on what that is. Is it a specific block or structure? Do I just place the dragon egg down anywhere and wait?
