I opened start.ps1
i changed it to Java 18 path
I opened it with PowerShell and it crashes instantly

This is a server-side question, I run a server on a Ryzen 5900x 12 core, 64GB DDR4 3600, X570. Storage is NVME, performance is amazing when I'm on my server alone, however when multiple people are exploring, chunk loads are slow. It's not generation, the map is pre-genned and is about 40GB - 20GB memory is dedicated to the server. Memory usage / CPU utilization etc all are normal, but chunk loads / updates just get extremely slow when we're all flying with elytra. Any ideas?

I had same issue when I tried out ATLauncher, I use Prism Launcher and haven't ever had an issue with any modpacks. Not specifically recommended by the devs for better minecraft so this is just in my personal experience, your milage may vary!!

Prism is a fork of MultiMC by the way, main difference is it works with CurseForge modpacks where MultiMC does not

Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask for help.
So I created my own server on modpack BetterMC fabric on Oracle Cloud VPS just to play with my friends. It’s working almost great, there isn’t any problem with performance or something like that but we managed to find one problem. So my friend created a Twilight Forest portal when he went into portal server just crashed.
(crash report: https://mclo.gs/uJJpnXV).
Later on I created another Twilight Forest portal in other places in overworld and it worked just fine (at least when I was flying around on creative mod). So after checking crash reports I think there is something wrong with generating structure (I’m not 100% sure. Last time I was playing modded minecraft was like 6 years ago). Also I was looking at google for answers but I couldn’t find anything (maybe there was something but I couldn’t find anything so sorry if there is somewhere obvious answer to that).
Anyone know an answer to fix that?

1. Download an adoptium release for Java (recommended but not required):

• Consider installing the JRE instead of the JDK for a smaller file size

2. When installing through adoptium, make sure that Add to PATH and Set JAVA_HOME variable are both set to be installed (please see https://imgur.com/a/jPu1h7h for how that would look)

3. Check if java has been correctly installed by running java --version (or java -version on older versions), and seeing if the output is correct (see https://imgur.com/a/OWcoq4p for an example of the output)

• NOTE: 64 bit versions of java ALWAYS have '64-bit Server VM' in the version output. If that is not there, you have installed a 32-BIT version!! If you're getting Out of Memory errors or any other errors, PLEASE install 64-bit

4. If the output isn't as intended, you have 2 options.
   i) Delete ALL other java versions from your PC (ONLY recommended if you don't need them)
   ii) Redirect your launcher/server to use your new installation of Java

Method i

1. Uninstall any other java program listed in your programs list (differs by OS, please find a guide for your own OS if you don't know)
2. Attempt to re-use the command mentioned above (if the output is now correct, which it should be, you are ready to go)

Method ii

1. For a server, please modify the $Java/JAVA variable (found in your startup script depending on ps1/sh) to the path of your java installation. For windows, this path is usually found in "Program Files/Eclipse Adoptium/version_of_java/bin"
2. For a client, depending on whether you use CurseForge, GD, or AT, the process is slightly different. Please see a guide for each respective launcher on how to change the java version.
