It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

@meager yacht I don't know if it can be replicated elsewhere. But here's the deal as far as I could find. Tom's Simple Storage crafting doesn't work from the crafting box on server only, works fine in local. If I cheat and I setup a terminal for Tom's storage, I can craft components properly from within the terminal's crafting box. It's only the default crafting box that doesn't permit it.

hey there fellow gamers, so I just installed fabric 1.19.2 and fabric API in order to play this modpack (better MC) but downloading the file gives a .zip file, and i'm not sure how to properly convert it into a .jar file in order to add it into the 'mods' folder. Would appreciate any help. I have recognized that extracting the .zip file gives 4 other folders with lots of separate .jar files inside, but adding those four folders into the mods folder did nothing.

the zip file you download from the curseforge website isn’t meant for client installs, you should just find better MC on a modded launcher and install that way

Please click this link and follow the guide. If you are using a server host such as Bisect, you may be limited in your options and instead have a checkbox to use Aikar's Flags, which will also work:

If you can not launch your server/game after using these flags, then remove the word java from the start. Also, make sure you are using Java 18 on 1.18.2 / 1.19.2 and Java 11 on 1.16.5. These should be downloaded from Adoptium's website.

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

deleting the entities out of the chunk should do the trick, if you can find which region file it’s in and delete it out of the /world/entities folder or open it up in NBT Studio and delete the problematic entities

Hello! For us to properly help you with your issue, you will need to answer all 8 questions below. Post the answers in this channel:

1. Have you modified the modpack in any way? If so, what did you do? (Updating/adding/removing mods, changing configs)
2. What launcher, or program, are you using to launch the game? (CurseForge, ATLauncher, etc)
3. What Minecraft version are you playing? (1.18.2, 1.16.5, 1.19.2)
4. What version of the modpack are you playing? (v11, v9, etc)

Yeah, I wasn't sure of the exact command because Vic Cavell the Witch was from morebabies mod. Figured all entities might work though ya know, assuming you were willing to kill all entities that are in chunks that are loaded

We could make a datapack that kills all witches every tick 🤔 like, create a function that turns on/off that functionality, for when issues arise, then the process to solve these issues would be

Upon game crashing, reduce render distance
Rejoin
Use the turn on function
Set render distance to normal and get closer to the witch or move around
Use the turn off function
I still don't understand why the issue happens tho, and always witches

blissful stump You won’t lose any player data by wiping the entities folder

this was trying to figure out why renaming the old_dat file for his player data wasnt working at all and it was because of a quiver he had

just erasing it on nbtexplorer fixed it

i just wanted to know if that was just coincidence that it was a supplementaries quiver causing the issue for his playerdata or if i should warn players on the server to avoid them

if the player in the chunk giving an error is having issues with blocks not updating or they’re getting kicked for nbt complexity, they probably have a similar issue going on with an entity in that chunk

#

but if it really is all working after deleting the quiver

We suggest using one of these two launchers for several reasons. They are considered far better than any other launcher. When installing a modpack on either launcher, do it through the Curseforge tab within GDLauncher/ATLauncher. You can transfer your Curseforge save to GDL/ATL. Because you are downloading the exact same files, you'll still be able to join the same servers and worlds.
