so, if a mod is throwing errors, (forgive me, I am a software developer, but new to all this minecraft mod stuff), can you just remove it from the server or will that cause the clients to stop connecting?

Depends on the mod. Most mods have to be synchronized on server and client. Otherwise you won't be able to connect to the server.

If you want to fix your crash above then the only solution would be to change your origin. As it's not only an issue with Danny's Expansion but mobs from other mods as well.

So, when you create a minecraft-world in this modpack you get to choose what "race" you're playing as. For example you can be a spider, a bird, a phantom, a demon and so on. Someone on your server chose the race "Soul Mage". They have a special ability to shoot a projectile.
When this special projectile hits a mob it may cause the crash above.

Is that per person or for the whole server? My daughter mentioned that I must of selected her origin (didn't know what she was talking about, don't remember doing such a thing).

That is per person.

The way to fix this is to use the command "/give [YourMCnickname] origins:orb_of_origin 1", give that item to the Soul Mage player and let them right click with it to choose a different race.

cool cool. Thanks man. I am using mineOs and had to downgrade the java in it to even get this to work. 20 google search windows later and all is good. Just hope can keep it stable enough for them to enjoy. Tis the one thing that gets the entire house interacting with each other

I don't know what mineOs is, but minecraft 1.16.5 runs on java 8 only, so I understand if you had to downgrade it from a more recent version.

Interesting that you got there the first time. Usually the teleport to the deep dark doesn't work on servers at all - unless you're Operator.

There is a keybind though to access your death-history. "U" by default, but you might have to check your controls.

You can find them also growing in some biomes, harvest them with shears.

I think you can only find the red ones naturally though.

I can't be sure. There are mutant blazes mixed in every once in awhile, but I have clearly killed some standard blazes. Actually, I don't think I've successfully killed a mutant one. One just blew up a a huge chunk of the building. -_-

The sword was lost durability and is gone. I will try and go into the depths of hell with my current sword and see what happens. It's just Iron with Sharpness II. If I don't get a blaze rod, I'll let you know and post a picture of the sword. I checked my armor too and all I have is a Renegade chest plate with armor, extra damage and ranged damage buffs.

Well, I've kind of got the lava fields covered. I'm using a Spell Book 1 flight solution. We can call it "Pinky Flight". It's where you use leap from the book, and a levitation belt, and you have to hold shift with your pinky forever so that you don't smash your face into the ground

I desperately want to find some blazes and level up to Spell book level 2 so I can get slow fall. >_<

well i just hit tier 3 and i have all but 5 of the glyphs so i was looking thru my spellbook and i saw intangble, if it just made like a 3 x 3 pit of intangble dirt and the player fell into it but it had a very short duration they would b stuck under the ground suffocating to death

alright guys so this is the deal, i play minecraft way more then my friends do and i like building, i plan on building a neat dungeon with mobs, hidden loot, traps etc. i would like ideas on traps that i can make with both redstone and ars noueavu. also im shooting for maybe 6 floors with themes, im thinking maybe 10 blocks high each floor, can u give me some neat ideas with solutions being clever use of magic, no more then glyph tier 2. just private message them to me i would be greatly appreciative. might even let acouple people join my server to try it out (of course it will b a pain to have correct mods and all that but im contemplating updating to v44)

@tranquil solsticeI'm the guy that was trying to figure out why I wasn't getting Blaze Rods from Blazes. I figured it out although I don't know if it makes any sense. It's my pickaxe. I was killing them with my sword but removing my pickax from my quick bar and I begin getting blaze rods. Add it back in the quick bar and I stop getting them. The pickaxe has an enchantment on it called "Acquisition".

That's an interesting behaviour. Acquisition is an enchantment that makes mined blocks go directly into your inventory, and I have one of those in my hotbar myself. Which modpack version are you playing on (v40, v44 or...)?

no, they aren't mutant blazes. It says Blaze in the health bar. I've seen mutant blazes. I don't think I've successfully killed a single one.

If you put in 5 Shiny Gems for example then your dwarf will forge them into 2 brilliant gems.

When you put in 5 Greater gems he will turn them into 2 Shiny gems.

Basically you can upgrade the gems into brilliant gems here.
