There is a spider spawner, those cannot mutate. But I would try endermen. They have a mutant form, but I haven't seen them spawning from my spawner.

They don't steal bows. I recommend using range weapons whenever you see them.

Nothing feels particularly laggy just couldn't hunt the farlander cause blood moon and if I stood still I'd get grabbed by something and die, honestly the Nether feels a lot less hostile than the overworld

Usually spawning in the Overworld is safer because you always spawn in a village. When you start in the Nether your portal will let you appear in the middle of nowhere.
But since you are a Demon now you're right. Better to stay in the Nether until you're stronger.

Overall the playerEX system can be useful, but it's not something that decides whether you can play or not. Build up some armor with the normal prot enchants and you're good to go, same for bows and swords and such. Some dungeons have harder enemies, others don't, it depends on the dungeon, but generally the bigger it is, the harder it is.
Also to access the screen, click the scroll on the top right of the inventory

Yes, it doesn't have magic repair.
You can repair items with their material or another one of the same item. For Dungeons Gear it's mostly iron or leather. Some of them might not be repairable though (for example, I think you cannot repair artifacts).
There are always Mending and Indestructible as enchantments though.

Depends on what you want. Do you want to have a huge town and such? Then yes, if you wish for mass amounts of auto resources, then meh, if you go only for the basics and the resource buildings. Bored? Sure, it can be a way to use some of your time.

You can only combine enchantments until they hit the vanilla max. To get higher levels you'll have to find them in dungeons (and then use the library to upgrade lower levels).

There is a library-block from Apotheosis. You can deposit enchants into it and take them out at the highest level you've ever fed into it.
Mega torches only prevent natural spawning, not spawners.

Pre built depends purely on your budget, the best thing to do however is go through the reviews on everything and see what they mention about air flow and heat. You can get fantastic components but if the case they come in has bad heat performance, it won't mean much.
They're pretty good, except when it comes to mounting water coolers properly, they like to put the tubes to the radiator on top of the pump rather than below it

Expect to have a few parts you might need to upgrade on a prebuilt, essentially what you are paying for is the GPU, CPU, and perhaps a few other parts along with the set up computer so you don't have to worry about the bios and drivers, etc. The most commonly replaced is the memory and the disk drives, since those typically are cheap ones. Though if the SSD is samsung, you should be in good hands

I personally recommend having 1 SSD and 1 HDD instead of 2 SSDs. While SSDs are faster they are a lot harder to recover. Data on HDDs are much safer. I use SSD for the OS only and HDD for storage.

You don't need good upload for backups to cloud btw.. the first one can take ages, but once it's there, the incremental can keep up on a very small amount of bandwidth. You can have an external 2nd backup just in case that covers it. Is it the 'cheapest' no.. but it's better than HDDs imho and worrying about any recovery from any HDD is a nightmare. been there..

Oh my. Set up a mob farm with 4 endermen spawners leading to a drop chute via warp pads so I can stand at roughly the center of the cluster and hit half-heart endermen. Over 500 levels in less than 5 minutes and so many player levels that I doubled-quadrupled most of my stats.
A big part is the ridiculous exp farming sword with looting VI, prospector IV, and KOTA IV.

This farm is substantially more involved than I might do next time, aiming for some aesthetics and using Create where possible. All the endermen are collected on the warp pad by encased fans blowing them all to a short path of the pushers from the awful ghast dungeon, then pulled off the pad up top by another Create fan, using a bunch of windmills for the looks as well as purpose.

I just started the modpack, and some stone is breaking but other stone isn't. I spawned in a village and a blacksmith building has stone filling it but some of it is just not breaking.

Esc - Options - Controls. You need to rebind conflicting keys, then you can press O to read about your origin.

It can only mine natural stone when there are at most 2 adjacent blocks of the same type next to it. Strength bypasses this though I believe

it will give you a combination of the mod's guide book + multitool
