Perhaps you noticed that the End Portal (the one your enter to return home) is not the vanilla one. When Sharkie replaced that mod the portal was gone. Only a complete reset of the End dimension would fix that. The official server never saw the reset - therefore no portal.

No problem, essentially the issue is something with the rendering process, whether that is GPU related or mod related, if it's a mod related conflict with magnesium, no idea how to help there as the only conflict I know of fully is Optifine. The GPU part is just making sure MC is running on the 5900 rather than the 4000. One thing to note from looking at Magnesium's github, supposedly Better End (Forge) has caused this rendering bug with other people, so if you want to test adding magnesium back in, then removing betterendforge and see if that does anything, that would be great. I'd do it myself but I can't replicate the rendering bug.

- Select the modpack, but don't press play.
- Hit the 3 dots (just left of the play button), select profile options (second category, towards the bottom of it)
- Under memory settings, uncheck the system memory settings option
- Change the slider to 8192MB
If it was set to the default, then it's no where near enough for the pack, so this will help the freezing most likely

Nope, they are random, it has a 10k block minimum distance from X:0,Z:0, and a minimum of 300 chunks per castle, with an avg of 500 chunks between them.
The mod's item should help guide you to it, the levitation stone from I believe a cartographer.

Yeah, easiest to use their update service, your world will still be there, so no need to worry, always good to copy and save the "saves" folder though when updating, its the only thing you need to save for an update as it is the folder containing your worlds

Yes you can, while in the change version menu, make sure to click 'update to new profile', it will create a v38 profile in addition to the v41
keep in mind since v41 is the latest, the initial download should be 41, so you just need to do that process I just mentioned in order to get v38 on a new profile while keeping v41 untouched and still installed

Only reason I killed it is because my Golem Kit had glitched out so I had like 3 Golems up to kill the dragon
I also found out btw that golem killing bosses like that lumbering knight underground does not give you the achievement for killing it. Damn killstealing Golems XD

You can change it ingame, so you don't need to restart the game.
Now you can either disable "Stamina" completely (which is the overwork-death)
or you just increase the regeneration of it.

Eat sweet berries or melon slices.
Having full water/food bars will regen stamina faster as well.

"The Beginning!"? The very first one? It's 199DB27DAA5DBED8.
Can find all of them in the files withinconfig\ftbquests\quests\chapters, look for the id fields

Yeah, you can do /ftbquests editing_mode
then click the quest you want to complete
and run /ftbquests editing_mode again.
Fairly simple.

You said you were playing with a friend right? Server log could show if anything is a problem there, otherwise all I can suggest i lowering you graphics settings and render range. Maybe try optifine instead of magneisum, might work better for your rig.

Demon and Blazeborn spawn in the Nether.
Otherwise it doesn't change the spawnpoint afaik.

There is a bug where 1 person spawning in the Nether makes everyone spawn in the Nether, but hopefully that's not gonna happen on your server.

If 10GB lags then I'd guess that it's your CPU being unable to handle the modpack. But you can try Optifine of course.

You should add the new L_ender's cataclysm mod to the modpack. It adds 3 new Bosses that look really great
The Bosses of mass destruction mod is amazing as well
