I got a lot of other buildings. Builder is a level 3, tavern level 1, forester level 2, Miner level 3, Guard tower level 2, and farm level one

All of the resources were hell to gather

And i think I lost a total of 6 colonists to mobs

Getting the resources is pain, true. I also didn't build my colony as self-sustainable. Don't even have a miner at all.

I mostly built the colony for the looks only. Gotta supply the food and materials all by myself.

You can set a "minimum stock" in each hut. They will request those items as long as the minimum stock is not reached.

You just need a courier + warehouse to move the materials between the huts.

Here are the steps that should fix your issue:

1. Move all your client-mods out of the folder and store them somewhere else on your PC.
2. Download all the mods from your server's mods folder and put them into your client's mods folder.
3. Try to join the server. It should work.
4. Compare now the mods in your folder with those you stored in the other location. There are probably some client-side mods in that pack that weren't on the server. Move them back in blocks (like 5 mods at a time) and make sure after every change that you can still join the server.

Now that they removed vein-mining it's probably not as "easy" anymore to find stellarite. Cave-systems or strip mining might be your best bets.

Items? Not really. But you can set up a spawner and get some enchants that increase your XP-gain.
Knowledge of the Ages converts every drop into XP.
Looting and Scavenger both work with that and max out the xp you get from the mobs.

Also, to get your own spawner you can craft an essence with the Necromantic table and right click an empty spawner with that. The empty spawner is made with just 4 spawner shards you get from breaking a spawner.

You know, I personally would remove the survive mod from your server (including deleting the configs), run the server once without it. Then upload the survive from single-player to the mods folder and upload the edited config (so that it's false from the very beginning) to the config folder.

My spawn-village was in a desert. They kept spawning inside it.

I've encountered an issue with Alex's mobs, it could not be this mod specific and just an issue with Java/Forge but everytime I break this ant chamber my game hard freezes. Mobs stops moving, items stop dropping, and chunks stop loading. I can move around but can't do anything. it's quite interesting, but also annoying having to boot up and have the potential for java to suspend itself while booting T:

I haven't experienced it myself (never broke one), but I could imagine it very well to be possible due to the fact that the mod somehow assigns real mobs to that block. It might have to do a lot of calcuating when you break it.
