If you've bought MC, I'd suggest just using GDLauncher or Curseforge, do not use Tlauncher. If you haven't bought mc, I'd suggest against openly stating that you use Tlauncher since it is against Mojang's TOS and such and just buy the game.

Unfortunately I don't know details about it, or whether it is fixable. I've only heard from various people that they crash when they equip a certain piece of the living armor. For some it is the boots, for others the chestplate it seems.

Honestly, that cpu shouldn't be holding you back really, I had a normal i7-7700 on my last computer and it ran the more intense packs like this just fine

Iirc, it's single core CPU performance and ram that matters most for running Minecraft

Getting the achievement for the Ur-Ghast can be a bit tricky. You not only need to kill it personally but you also have to drop the trophy to the ground and pick it back up again. Just taking it out of the chest doesn't complete the quest.

@normal vector So, I've watched a video about the golden butterflies now (there is apparently only a Spanish explanation out there...), and apparently the only way to die to it is indeed by killing it. You'll die 2 minutes afterwards.
I doubt a little that you're a butterfly-slaughtering merling, so it's either something else that killed you (and it happened to be near a butterfly) or something is not working correctly there, lol.

Depends on the situation, lol. I have 1500 particles just standing around.
You could of course turn particles off and see whether that helps. Other reasons for bad performance may be render-distance or memory-allocation.

Hey, saw no one responded to the question, the best storage for the modpack is using the storage network with the sophisticated backpacks, with all of them having at least a few stack upgrades, considering how easy it is to get iron and diamonds, it's not too much of an investment, just use the FTB chunks to force load the network by claiming the chunks that have the chests, pipes, and the network blocks that way you can use it in other dimensions.
get a decent amount of the backpacks with those upgrades and you are set for days

You'll not have fun, no. Your PC needs to have at least 16GB of RAM to play this pack without stuttering.
You could try the Fabric version though, maybe you'll get away with it on low graphic settings.
Remember that you shouldn't allocate more than half your PC's RAM to minecraft.

This only happened yesterday, or 2 days ago I don't remember, but when loading the game, it goes through everything relatively quickly, then gets stuck on
"Atlas Stitching : minercraft:textures/atlas/beds.png" I've let it sit for over 20 minutes and nothing happens memory usage cycles up and down but that's about it.
So far I've tried reinstalling the modpack and taking out the mods I added in, updating to v37 as I was using v36, and restarting curseforge, does anyone have any idea what the issue could be?

On the mod's web page it doesn't restrict the enchantment to natural spawns only. Should work on spawner-mobs.
Level 5 of the enchant is a 2% chance to get a spawn egg btw.

I haven't tried low levels of the enchant, only level 5 and above. I guess lower levels simply have a smaller chance that the enchant gets triggered.
What it does is: when you take fatal damage you get additional hearts that absorb the next damage (golden hearts, similar to eating a golden apple). If you have points in the RPG-stats to increase the life-regen it will start doing that instantly.
The emerald-part of the Death Barter enchant is either not working or I just collect too many emeralds, I don't know. I couldn't figure out any relation between picking up emeralds and triggering the enchant.

I just enchanted simple netherite boots with Death Barter V now though. It's time to test things!
First try was: No armor, only these boots. And straight jumped into the void. Result: I couldn't die.

Well, as long as the error appears it's not downloading anything. But yes, you try until it starts downloading.
If it really won't work you may as well try the GDLauncher, perhaps that one works better (tho I never tried it myself).

if you're deciding on which you want, i recommend shulk, they're nice and tanky and have the extra inventory

Yep, from what I know of they don't detect as 'shields' for the origin mod, at least going off of what others have said. I have only used avian and deer
