In deserts you'll find more dead dragons than alive. Fire dragons can be pretty much anywhere except snowy regions and savannah.

there is a relic that will give you wall climb and cobweb ignore though

yeah i skipped flying stuff but i also added mods to this pack like callable horse so i get a pegasus and usually have it as my personal horse i can call and i will use it to fly when i want to cover distance

I strip mined a bit in the beginning, but I always crashed into giant caves and holes, so I gave up on that. Now I just mine "random" with my vein-mining pick (which breaks 50 blocks at once) and cover bigger areas this way.

True! I'm taking this modpack on very slowly myself. Spent 2 weeks in the Overworld only and only explored as many biomes as I needed for progression/getting materials for my base. I really needed some of the stellarite though because I am using a sword with an active ability that costs durability - would've cost without the stellarite.

true it might have changed this update but i got a lot of mending gear and the best thing i found for mending books was the the stalwart dungeon boss that has the armored blaze mobs and the ghast boss i forgot the name of
if you go to one of the rooms that shows the mending book that dungeon self repairs in some weird tick thing and it resets items so you can get mending books over and over

Yeah you can use a grindstone + book to transfer the enchants from an item on a book. Then split the book with a Splitting-enchanted anvil and you can freely use the enchants.

Yes, you literally drop the enchanted book on the floor, place the anvil at the side of a wall next to it so that the anvil physically drops onto the enchanted book on the floor, and it will split the book.

You can only split enchanted books that have more than 1 enchant. Like, if you got mending + sharpness III on a sword you can extract that, get a book with mending + sharpness III, drop the anvil on that book and get 1 book with mending and 1 book with sharpness III.

Alright. Have an eye on it. Usually the game freezes when your memory usage reaches ~95%, then it frees some memory, it goes slowly up again and freezes again. I had that issue before I allocated enough RAM.

There might be an easier solution but I am not the smartest, so... I would use NBTExplorer to edit my player-file and change my position to somewhere else (so far away that the affected chunks are not loaded when joining), then use the command to clear all entities.

Now when I think about it... the command to clear entities might not work cuz it most likely only clear loaded chunks... so you'd have to load them first which makes you crash. Once you changed your position though and joined the world you might be able to load the chunks without immediately crashing. You should then carefully advance in the direction of the affected chunk and execute the command as soon as you start experiencing lag spikes.

I never used warp plates, but can't you make a fence gate around it or make it in some other way unreachable for the mobs? Or... maybe use waystones instead of plates? I think a waystone costs the same (4 ender pearls and 4 purple dye).
There are also Sharestones which connect 2 places, so you would not have to select the destination in the waystone.

There is an enchant called "Splitting". You put that on an anvil (yes, anvils are enchantable now, like unbreaking). Then you do something you'd never have thought of doing: you drop the book with multiple enchants on the floor, next to a wall. Then you place the anvil on the side of that wall and let it physically drop onto the enchanted book laying on the floor. It will split the book and you can pick up the "pieces", aka the multiple enchanted books.

I am only using oak shelves for now cuz I a early game and poor XD But when you look in the enchanting table and hover over the 3 bars you can read what the different attributes mean.
You can also search in JEI for "Draconic Endshelf". That's what you will have to use in late game for enchanting I guess. They are pretty... expensive.
