Ok so I've not played modpack in like 2-3 weeks, since 27.5 version, and now, for some reason I'm just getting killed in my mob farm, my whole armor set (prot 8 on each with unbreaking 8) was destroyed in an instant, my totem of undying activated even tho i have 2 rows of hearts, did I miss something in an update?
I got insta-killed, twice, and I don't know what is the reason behind that, could it be Pain Cycle enchant? Or just Greek God doing some of his stuff

Kinda annoying that i lost 4 mending enchants with 8 prot and 8 unbreaking on each set of armor

oh man the Dead Guys Deep Dark is annoying...

No config file.
The spawn is totally broken, if you have a big cave you are fucked it generates so many entities that even in a good computer the fps go to hell and the server probably doesn't like it either. I will have to test if I can fix that with InControl or something similar as there is no config as far as I am aware.
When returning it returns you to the spawn.... not your bed or similar.
The portal breaks after a single use, I was fine with having to put a diamond every time I entered, but the damn thing brakes and unless I missed something you have to create a new one each time which is annoying.

@proper totem hey I went back to the chunks I believed made me crash and unable to join back, and nothing special happened, no big structure or anything. So I don't know if my friend teleporting me to him or restarting the server completely as well as my modpack was the answer but if someone has teh same issue please tell them to do that as well. Pretty much. The only way to swiftly regen stamina is by making sugar water, which is a pain. imo you're better off going into the config and nerfing stamina loss, or just turning it off entirely.

@proper totem Hey ! how are you ? good news I found what hte issue I had was caused by. (I'm the guy who couldn't join the server back and had to tp away).
So everytime I crashed I had this bauble that makes me climb on walls and walk through cobwebs without getting slowdown, and for every crash i was walking through one. So I believe the bauble is causing that

anyone ever ran into problem where cutting down a tree won't yield any logs? just started on the modpack so dunno if thats some feature or what
i cut down oak trees before and I just cut down a bunch of Fir and Zelkova trees for logs (though they cant be made into chests...) and i cut down spruce tree but realized neither are giving me logs rn

(note thats when using the tree felling method the mod provides with the gradual cutting of the entire tree - shift clicking one block itself works)

My server keeps crashing after running for a 20ish hours Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 2008ms or 40 ticks behind this was the last log
This means that the server is lagging too much right?
A few minutes before I got this error too: [randompatches/]: Changing UUID of duplicate entity minecraft:painting from 419fbb0a-2216-4789-b4ec-7daeab27d4fb to d750e93e-e62c-482b-a30c-4e75e532579b
Could these be related? I already gave the virtual machine an extra core and the server has 4-6GB of ram

is it aproblem with the HTreeChop or whichever the tree chopping mod is that i cna't actually get logs from oaks and spruce?
cant make chests out of fir or zalkova so needed to find oak an dspruce but in a mountain biome and a plain-y biome both oaks and spruce trees in each didnt give me logs only sticks and saplings. need to shift-cut one by one

1 other person mentioned this in ctrl-F'ing so wondering if its an all-the-time thing which it surely can't be since the mod is part of the modpack

is not a bug youre running out of stamina and then running out of reserve stamina and dying

unless youre just dying even without moving/doing stuff to that error and you never see the red stam bars

I know that more than one mod in the pack adds enchantments so if you're hoping to read em all in one place that's unlikely to happen, and you'll need to look up all the mods
spawn in creative and go through the menus and write down the name of the mod that's under the item name

A friend of mine is having lag issues with the modpack - our server runs on v28 and no one else seems to have issues, which are not related to 'not enough ram allocated'.
Using AMD graphics card, 8gb RAM allocated.

Try each of the following, testing after each:
Ensure right amount of ram allocated. 8GB for all packs is ok if you have 12GB or more. see ︱faq for how to.
Remove SimpleRPC mod. Rollback FTBChunks to v46. Remove dynamicSurroundings. Remove Performant & optifine and then Install sodium-forge aka Halogen (See ︱faq for link) . Use GDLauncher https://gdevs.io/

if journeymaps saves its info outside the world save, then yes, but you can just copy that across too if so

once you install the profile in GDlauncher you copy the entire saves folder across to bring all your worlds into it

Hey Sus, you can't craft it, you need to complete all of the quests in "Twilight forest" to obtain one, each boss killed (in the correct quest order) gives an eye as a reward, this is the only way I have found to get the eye you're after.

yeah indestructible enchantment can be found on other items and you can use tome of scrapping to get the enchantment on the book, but also you can use Eternal stella to give indestructible enchant to the item but you need to find stella arcanum ore which is pretty rare

Hi team,

Originally I was trying to play this pack though AT on a dedicated server, however my chunks have been slow to load and I had constant lag spikes. Less of a spike, and more of ongoing lag.
Allocated up to 10GB of RAM, still the same story.
I installed MultiMC, reinstalled the pack there, reinstalled Java, made sure 8GB was allocated, tested on server and on singleplayer, still the same lag.
I have a friend with identical hardware who is running the pack fine.
I'm all out of ideas, so suggestions are welcome :)

I thought stamina went up if your thirst and hunger were full or close to full. I've never had a problem with stamina. Though some of my friends have. I am the only one that is of the Feline origin though.

when a modpack like this got a new update, is it safe to just delete the old files in the curesforge install folder? i can't seem to find an "uninstall" button within curseforge itself, and I realized my better minecraft install was like 4 versions out of date & this one got updated recently from 29->30 so figured I'd do that tonight.

also is there any changelog info regarding the "Fixed bugs and crashes" notice? Not that fussed about the spider mod so unsure how necessary it is to update this one anyway

safe thing to do, to ensure you can rollback is install the update as a new profile

Ok, sure yeah. That was my first plan too - copy the world and configs over and see if it works.

Was the wyrmroost related crash on loading a chunk with a wyrm in it fixed in this or was that a crash in compatability between alterlands & wyrmroost? (I know alterlands was removed - but I added it back in. 1 other user from searching here has that crash but I'm unsure if he also had alterlands). I only assume alterlands, since the crash-log at the time had one section with alterlands mentions, and the other being the wyrmroost chunk error.

Only reason I put alterlands back in is that I saw it was in the modpack once before, saw it was removed and went "damn that looks pretty cool though" 🤣 so given that only 1 other guy had the wyrmroost crash recently it would have to be between those two

Still don't know why treechop won't work for oak and spruce but will for the other trees/will work for individual shift-click chopped logs but ill just assume its a mod. Added around... 10? extra ones that were in my Better Minecraft pack (ironically oak/spruce cut properly there) but other than that I've had no problems at all with this modpack so far. The UI and Sound Pack was a great choice and whatever mods you guys put in for Cave Generation looks amazing.

i mean.. i just get netherite from some of the big overworld dungeons
you can, just drop version g7 into the mod folder
