For any who come later. the 'you can't sleep while it watching you' is the Night Watcher. A neutral squid-ender mob that prevents sleep when it's spawned nearby.
It will repeatedly teleport you when/if you engage it, often in the air for some fall damage. But Iron level gear should be enough to take it down easily, so long as it doesn't repeatedly teleport you places you can't get to it. Like on your roof in into trees.

let's say you have 16 gigs, and you allocate 8.
2-4 is probably spent running your system itself, or having a webpage open.
8 starts getting full, so it uses 4 to try to clean up stuff.
Doesn't cap out, so all's good.
Let's say you allocate 10.
Stays unfilled longer, but when it starts getting full, the 'cleanup' doesn't have enough to run and that can lead to chain freezes and crashes

Well. This is the end for me for Medieval MC. Cool modpack, but my saved and game got bricked.
Somehow, Curseforge reinstalled a new copy over my actual game and my save is gone forever.
Actually , all of my saves, but especially my hardcore save of like 2-3 weeks.
Might be back at some point. Hope to see Enigmatic Legacy back.

it's probably a corruption then as the only change ive ever made to the modpack was adding optifine

you can expect alot new mobs and weapons some survival aspects and with minecolonies you could make your kingdom

No, modifying the server mod files wont impact the players. If players have mods that arent on the server, unless theyre client side it will make no difference.

Yeah, it's worked for my server. Some users might get a java error from missing components if they've already played the server, but that can be easily fixed by manually deleting the mod from their own mod folder

well i have cheats enabled (only for extreme emergencies)
teleporting, /killall, /gamemode creative then /kill @e dont weork for me
since the silverfish destroy the silverfish stone that is the entire temples base, more silverfish spawn
around 33k - 40k enemies spawn
and of course all the silverfish have poison effect causing more particles
8gb dedicated ram and lowest graphics and i get 1 frame every 7 seconds while trapped there by 38k silverfish

Minecolonies is amazing mod it takes some time to get use too. Just read up the wikis and YouTube videos. After placing your supply camp in the “rack” next to the bed there’s a build tool and a town hall. -where you place your town hall is where your “claimed land” aka colony will begin. From there use the FTB to search up how to make a “build hut” “guard tower” “farm” “house” all critical things you need to make yourself colony with. You’ll need lots and lots of resources.

There can be several reasons need more specifics. Did they download the correct version? Are you on version 26 ?

Seems to be the load of the blacklisted mob. Maybe a removal of mod may be only way to bypass for now.
The mobs java class is getting loaded before the badmobs config blacklists them.

Hello. 😁 Is there any way to have larger biomes in the world? The default generator is recommended because Quark's realistic generator doesn't seem to spawn things from different mods correctly. Since the "Large Biomes" setting is the vanilla generator, only enlarged biomes, that should actually work, right? Has anyone ever played this a little longer with "Large Biomes"?

Yeah, Tom's Storage Mod is a pretty early system to interconnect your inventory containers. Storage Overhaul offers some tiered vanilla containers to increase storage space.

I've been trying to get Medieval Minecraft Fabric to work on my server for a few days and finally gave up and switched to Medieval Minecraft Forge since Gportal has a preset for it. Got everything started up... and I'm lagging so bad I can't even move? The game freezes completely every couple of seconds... any ideas as to why, or maybe suggestions for a fix?

I just installed Medieval Minecraft Forge 26.5 on my modded server but the inclusion of TransliterationLib crashes the server on startup due to being a client side mod and not having the appropriate checks. (An issue on that libs github is alreadytracked)
However, i thought the easy solution would be to remove TransliterationLib and its dependent mod FirstPersonModel from the mod list. When i did that (On both the client and server) the server starts up just fine but i still cant connect, getting the message that the mod stream is different. Any ideas how i could fix?

There's a mod in this pack that makes slabs snug up against the block next to them, standing on one end, instead of bridging the gap you're trying to place them in []| < like that. Not like this >[]_ which is how vanilla does it.
I'm sure there's a trick to get them to flatten properly again but I've yet to figure it out

As far as I know, optifine is not compatible with the Twilight Forest mod and is know to cause crashes when both are used together. You’ll get a warning screen when loading both mods together, it’s a 50/50 chance if it works and I haven’t found a fix for it yet unfortunately

It don't causes crashes when together. That's not what the warning is for. You'll have graphical glitches like hydra head missing.

in the case i found, the mod was spawning invisible monsters to generate particles and then it kills them off once they gnerated their particle count
