Please, I walk around the map a bit and I already get a lot of debuffs, without explanation, it's unplayable. if these debufs are because of the temperature, make the temperature gauge appear, because we are not diviners, in the past, in the tough as nails mod there was the temperature gauge, if the debufs are caused by something else, fix this.

yeah, origins got removed in v16, v15 removed the origin addon that had the necromancer origin that's why I was confused about the whole class.
the class options mod in not fully developed and balanced out at this time it seems, if you go to the mod authors page and report anything that does not work or does not work like intended it'll get fixed faster.

i found the problem & it wasn't me or my ram it was specifically Barako's Minions & not the boss this is a potantial problem if you wish for everyone to be able to play the modpack not just people who spend vast amounts of money on a computer who might not have it, you can fix it by simply disabling the minions from spawning, i fixed it by disabling Barakoa from being summoned i even spoke with the Mowzies developer & he confirmed the problem

What you're experiencing is from the comfortable nether mod and you needed to meet two conditions to be debuffed.
- Being in basalt deltas biomes under y28

There is the Pegasus and I believe another flying mount in Ice and Fire that I can't remember the name of
To tame a pegasus, you need a golden lasso
There is also the hippogryph, but they seem to be really rare. If you do find one, I believe it's 4-7 rabbit feet and you have to throw it at him to attract it
Then there is the Amphithere. To tame this, you have to first find it in a jungle biome, where I found them the most often. You need a projectile, bow, crossbow, snowball, etc. Finally, you need to knock it down from the sky and then mount it. It will try and bite you to get it off so I would recommend some form of gear.
You can find information for the last two in a beastiary
To.make the book you need 3 manuscripts. Then you put the book into a beastiary lectern and you will need 81 total manuscripts to fully upgrade and get all the info in the book

From my experience, coldness is caused by standing on ice or being an area that is snowing. To combat it, you can stand on cobblestone with a roof or you can get enchantments. There is warming and adjusted cooling, I recommend adjusted cooling since it works in hot and cold places.
I haven't been able to fully explore the modpack as the server I am playing is having issues, but I'll do my best to help.

Yeah, I’m removing that mod as well. It’s just tedious. It doesn’t add anything but two extra clicks and time once you get a water bucket, and it’s a bit annoying. Figured out what the ClassOptions mod does. The curseforge page has a TON of info.

If anyone wants to play with mod create in the latest modpack version, I just solved the problem of putting the Create mod in v17 and crashing in the statup, just downgrade the abnormals core to version 3.1.1 and remove the Enhanced Mushrooms mod, I did that and now the game opens normally.

I have this problem where if I (apparently?) go too far into the nether (roughly 1400 blocks) then it just kinda halts progress. Blocks stop dropping, and I can't continue since after some steps my singleplayer world just seems to stop rendering any further, like I'm having a loading issue

Hey, I'm having lag spikes whenever the memory usage drops. Basically it goes uf to 60-ish % then drops back to 40-ish, at which point it lags. Every. Single. Time. Why is this happening? I don't have this odd issue with Better Minecraft Plus, and I even use shaders on that one.
Should I decrease the allocated memory?

i think i found a kinda insane glitch in the class options mod
if you use the barbarian skill it gives your item sharp one if you put this item in a chest or backpack and let it sit for like 20 sec it stays permanently and you can stack the sharp one so you will have multiple sharp 1 enchants.

Took me a min to realize this is forge support and not fabric. So java 16 will not work on forge.

Yw. Java 16 wont work for anything but minecraft 1.17+
Fabric installer is worst then forge imo. Forge easier to setup and install. But fabric runs better and 1.17 runs even better.

I think it has something to do with blessing of hades. They usualy fight for you when you enter battle but can attack you as well

I have a bit of an issue with this modpack, my system is pretty beefy, like I've got an I7 6700 (yeah not top of the line but it should be able to handle minecraft), 32 GB of RAM and a 1080 TI in here (though I imagine graphics card doesn't do much for minecraft) and I have the pack installed on an SSD and this pack lags like crazy especially during world generation.
is there some way to make it a little less laggy?
for reference I was using the terraforged world type and selected the thing it told me to in customization (though I think it would have loaded that anyway considering it's the default)

What launcher do you use? It may be to do with how much ram is actually allocated to Minecraft (which by default is usually way to little for a modpack). If you use GDlauncher you can change the allocated ram ratjer easily in settings but im not sure about other launchers.

I wouldn't think so, i have 9gigs allocated and it doesn't lag too often. You could try allocating more + reducing render distance
I mean you have 32gigs to play with just bunp it up and test and see how it goes

I tried reducing down to minimal render distance and that didn't really do anything
from what I'm observing the issue seems to be related to terrain generation causing some kind of massive load on my system to the point where it temporarily maxed out my CPU and caused my browser to stutter

From what it says in #faq you might just need to test the ram allocation a bit to see whats good for your system + settings. Maybe install optifine or sonething to help with performance as well

My game only tends to really lag when i load alot of chunks really quick or load new chunks that have big dungeons in them. Once they are loaded i run fine though

I think it may have something to do with whatever mod causes the animation when chunks load in
instead of them just popping into existence they actively materialise with an animation

this is the reason applied energistics has item type limits.... at some point you just hit critical mass and there's too much data stored in one place which makes the game just kill itself

so, I've been trying to test out whether optifine makes this modpack easier to work with and man I'm getting nothing but shit spawns, every time I spawn in something is immediately there to kill me whether it's a cyclops, a pack of myrmex, a chicken warrior, they are sat on the very square I spawn on

and as weird as it sounds try running it with less RAM, 10 is overkill and I have no idea why people keep recommending so much on this server. You'd get beaten up for suggesting 10gb on the vivecraft or RLcraft server. Thats most likely like 3gb thats having to be transfered back and forth unused

You need to essentially make the same item you used to get in with a slight variation in build material required and also youll need to activate it with a bar of gold instead of diamond

I think it seems to be some kind of weather system, I don't think it's tied to biome or anything specific, it just seems to happen
does it seem to be location locked? like once it disappears if you turn around and go back to where you just were does it come back?

it's a weather condition from simple seasons
you can either use a command to make the weather clear again
or go into the config and put the fog density to zero

It doesn't change the time of day that the player sleeps (still 6am). But because the sun rises/sets at different times depending on the season. It can still be "night" when you wake up. I actually would have to change the wake up time to "fix" that.

I don't think that really matters? Plus most seemed to like it (from my experience in 1.10) cause it means they can skip/sleep through winter. You can edit the wake times currently but I could add a config to prevent sleeping between 6am and 6pm even if it's dark.

A new "Realistic" world type is added at world selection, featuring somewhat realistic terrain while still feeling minecrafty. Expect rolling hills and tall mountains. A large biomes variant is also available. (1.16.4+ only)
If you want to use it in a server, set your level type in the server properties to "quark:realistic", or "quark:realistic_large_biomes". (omit the "quark:" part prior to 1.16.4)
For those curious about world types using Quark Realistic. This gave me a headache with world generation haha.
