Getting insane ping to our server box when running the mod pack. I've given the server 11gbs of memory and my client 9gbs. The box is more than capable of handling it as well. Any suggestions?

in cases of bugs I recommend activating the cheat mode, if you didn't enable it in the world generation, I don't know if you can open lan mode in this modpack without bugs, then when you open lan mode, you activate the cheats, and teleport out of nether. or better yet, give up this save and create another one with another race
But beware, that opening lan mode can bug your game, because of the message on the open lan mode button.

Just stay in one spot (or stop running, walk instead) and remove "heavy" armor. I think anything above chainmail counts as heavy, as long as it's not enchanted with featherweight/weightless.

I appreciate it. Unfortunately, the world that I asked that in had to be deleted because it was bugged. After testing around 20 times, the stamina there was being depleted faster than the standing still regeneration. So, I was always going to die no matter what.

What worked for me was just right clicking the atlas book you get at the beginning then letting your friends join. If that doesn't work, #810324858181255168 at the top recommends 2 other solutions.

Take off armor and then you can walke, stand still, or sleep. I've noticed that once you get to non-vanilla armor, the stamina no longsr goes down exponentially fast.
I've also noticed a few issues with this modpack so far. For starters, most dragons die off spawn or when loaded in, likely because of the terrain. I have only killed two dragons so far and I have run across 20+ dragon skeletons. The origin mod also doesn't fit some descriptions. Blazeborn needs to drink water, which doesn't make sense. Necromancer is extremely overpowered as you can't be killed by mobs unless they teleport you and drop you or you are bitten ans dropped. Spawnpoints have been extremely buggy on the server my friends and I have played where people will spawn in the nether when they have never been or people who spawn in the nether are killed and spawned in the overworld when they have never been. Keep in mind, no beds destroyed, no spawnpoints placed by any player. The modpack overall is enjoyable and way harder a start than better Minecraft was, but there are some issues I believe are being overlooked. Whether the severity matters only to some or if our group is one of the few experiencing these problems, I believe they should still be considered.

Oh, I see, yeah I find it makes it way too easy to get dragon bones which can be very useful. It also seems that the origin mod is filled with bugs, as I'm fairly certain that is also the issues of the spawnpoints. Hence blazeborn being in the nether and others spawning in the nether.

Hi, so my server keeps crashing hard when somebody goes to the nether. This started happening first in the v13.5 update and it continues in this one as well (v14). This happens when any of the 7 players i have on my server enter. Mind you, we've tested only one person on the server trying to enter. I'm more familiar with C# than JavaScript but this can happen when something isn't well connected like receiving an input and can't react in consequence or just can't access to a component like a mouse or a keyboard (in C#)
You can for exemple in code have this error if you go to a menu (and so can't move in game, and code puts your velocity to zero) and still try to move using the moving inputs, the code says "yes I know you're asking me to input velocity but it's zero"

Gdlauncher does have its own java installed so you wouldn't need to go thru many procedures to get the game working so let's try that

An iron wood hoe gets auto efficieny on it. That's the best thing I found.

probably removed it self while updating the dependant mod. sadly curseforge has a tendency of doing that, or sharkie removed it and forgot to mention it. TF has problems with optifine tho, so you have to choose

Reminder to server owners about this update, if you can’t connect to the server due to “mismatched mods”, check your server side mods folder for the voicechat jar file. If it has .disabled at the end of it, rename it without the .disabled part.

Yeye. I’m just restating this since the new update isn’t out yet. It’s mainly an issue with the server hosts like bisect and meloncube.
The guides are in game to each of the major mods. Like the abyss or enigmatic legacy.

I got this modpack today and have been really enjoying it but- is there any way to turn off the death by exhaustion? Its the only thing thats killed me, has killed me around 7 times and dosent really seem to add anything except being annoying.
Not being able to sleep in the day makes it particularly bad as you have to sit on a bit for a few minutes ever time you break around 45 blocks

check bugs channel you have to disable antique waystones and antique atlas
i actually would not recommend deleting them because they have dependencies that are other working and fine mods
either that or the people trying to connect have the wrong version

Uh hello, i just joined the server since i got linked to it in the issues tab of the site, so when I try to install the FORGE modpack of Medieval Minecraft around like the part where it says "Validating Files" or something along the lines of that (basically near the end of the download) it'll cancel and give me the error "Missing file for addon 333287 in database"
