That would be something Minecolonies itself has to change (since they programmed their guards to attack neutral-until-attacked mobs like endermen - and thus also grandmasters. However, last time I had a colony (back in 1.16.5, but I don't see why they would've removed that feature) you were able to de-select mobs to be attacked in the GUI of each guard tower. Perhaps you could remove the grandmaster there.

I'm working on a modpack with a friend of mine where the main focus is a mod that we're waiting for that'll make Apotheosis look like a baby, and even once I added Apotheosis and Ancient Reforging I still immediately changed some of the affixes for Ancient tier because 70% current hp damage and 60% execution point is just stupid (and that doesn't even include Sigil of Malice or the all new Sigil of Supremacy)
is there a way to remove or disable the step high "skill"? where i dont have to jump to get over a block

The only way is to reset your skill tree with a certain scroll but you'll lose 20% of your skill points

There are some ways to reduce speed but I don't think that there's anything to remove step height
I don't usually mind low amounts of speed, low amounts are actually really good, but step height can get annoying really quickly

If it really is an item, you can just edit your friend's inventory via NBTExplorer. In the server's world folder is the \playerdata. Inside should be a file called "7ffd383c-bd4d-4adb-89a9-0ad223899bba"
Wasn't too much of a setback. We had been the only people in the server to have a maxed out enchantment setup so I was quickly about to get heavily enchanted diamond gear and eventually was able to upgrade it to Netherite and then Dragon

Hello! My friends and I are having some weird issues with some of the MineColonies citizens (mostly the restaurant) on a Medieval MC 1.20.1 v35 and Im wondering what is the recommended fix for them. Its the janky stuff like the Cook not cooking/bugging out or other citizens not fulfilling their orders. etc.
Ive scanned the discord here for solutions, and it sounds like Ive two options; Either update the MineColonies mod (and only that), or remove the "Pathfinding Edition for Minecolonies" mod completely. Wondering if either of these is still recommended to fix the restaurant? Which one is most likely to work?

Twilight Forest mobs dropped ancient gear, and I broke them down into the ancient materials then godforged pearls.

Only rarely, but in the overworld is where I found the first ancient item, an unusual kimono. I probably found some in the nether, but most likely only as gems.

I got 1 melee and 1 range spell, the rest utility. recall and jet steam are probably the ones I use most.
Also got Heal imbued on my chestplate, but since I took life regen on the skill tree that's hardly useful anymore.
one might consider spectral hammer a "muiltiplayer hazard"
I like Telekinesis because it just lets me move mobs where I want them or just basically hold them in place for an easy kill

You can do a fair amount with the right spells
Most of my spells are also utility spells like heal, fortify, blood step, spectral hammer, angel wings, and recall. The only other spells I have are fire breath (For short range crowds), fireball (For long range sniping) Sunbeam, and summon undead.

One the one hand that would be good to make obtaining good spells more difficult, on the other hand it would deter newer/unexperienced players from getting into Iron's early on. So I'd agree with cHin, it depends on how easy it is to obtain the manuscripts.

There seem to be 2 tiers of manuscripts for each class, maybe it's possible to make average spells be unlocked with tier 1 - fairly easy to obtain - and better spells be unlocked with tier 2 - hard to obtain.
This could definitely be good for locking advanced spells but I think basic ones should still potentially be unlocked
Iron's Spellbooks can already be a bit grind-heavy to get into, and I fear that this could just make it worse if too much is locked

Perhaps, but Eldritch would still be the only class that requires ancient knowledge fragments and thus be a lot more difficult to unlock than any other class. Basically, both the incentive and the effort to unlock Eldritch would remain the same.

It has great potential, it would just depend on again just how hard it is to get the manuscripts
Some scrolls like Summon Horse are just practically made for the earlygame and should preferably be left unlocked, but other powerful scrolls like Heartstop, Counterspell, Evasion, Angel Wings (or whatever its name is, the Holy spell that gives you elytra flight), the fire spell that reduces armor effectiveness and probably all the Cataclysm spells could benefit from being locked behind unique manuscripts

Anyone else have a weird glitch where the Pegasus and Hippgryphs (Mobs of Mythology and Ice and Fire) fly straight up in the air and just plop back down? I think it happened to the dragon boss from Bosses Rise as well.
Muon, may i suggest nerfing healing glyph from ars nouveau? Its insanely broken, Self + Heal + x8 amplify and you heal 60 points of hp aka 3 bars of health for 200 mana (i have 4k and regen 100 per second) Maybe adding a fix to heavily reduce effectiveness if using self form?

Well if you're starting out, you can make wooden armor, which help with skeletons due to projectile protection, and you can easily replace parts due to the fact that you can just craft new armor out of logs. Copper armor from the dungeons and combat mod can be alright early game armor as well, since copper is easily mineable, and the stats are a bit higher than the ice and fire copper set.

Okay, looks like it's not mentioned for some reason. It looks like vanilla shields are the only ones that he can't use, so you could craft a modded shield (the ones from dungeons and combat only cost wood + stone/iron/gold/dia).

Hmm, that's pretty low level to die from that, but I don't know what other enchantment would be the cause. Berserker's Fury increases the damage you take from mobs, so if your defences aren't sufficient, it can kill you.

Life mending uses your own healing-received to repair the armor, it doesn't actually damage you.

I think the information there is outdated. In the past Life-Mending did do damage to you to repair stuff, but now on 1.20.1 it uses your healing-received instead.
Yeah, either use a shield, or dodge enemies, or buff up your HP and armor so that the incoming damage doesn't kill you so easily. Or remove the enchantment XD

The skill tree IS the number 1 source of power

I think changed affixes and gem bonuses will update to the new values but any previously stacked Warlord gems (or any other gem I decide to convert into a unique gem) will stay stacked
Now the real question is what will happen to any affixes that I disable or significantly rework
I haven't stacked Warlord gems anywhere, so that shouldn't do much.
If the internal affix ID stays the same, it should simply adjust the effect associated with it.

Either it removes it or the world will fail to load because it cannot find the tag in the code. That's my guess at least.

I know that if I just change the values of an affix or gem bonus it should just immediately update to the new value (the game just marks the bonus from an affix/gem and its rarity, and for affixes a float number from 0 to 1 indicating its strength)

Yeah, I think changing an affix in any way doesn't break anything, but removing it altogether... hmm. Sometimes the game is good at ignoring removed content (like, removing a mod that influences world-gen simply removes the blocks that are now missing instead of complaining and crashing), but it's not something I would call reliable. If you can't test it though, I could make a backup and see what happens :P

The game is trolling me again. The "Ancient Bricks Slab" from Eidolon doesn't have the texture of the Ancient Bricks, but of the Ancient Masonry (even though the icon looks fine). But the "Ancient Masonry Slab" has the Ancient Masonry texture as well, so we got 0 slabs for Ancient Bricks and 2 slabs for Ancient Masonry. Of course I wanted to use the one that now doesn't exist.

Ok so it did buff the Warlord Gems and remove the Ballast Gem, but it didn't spit out existing Warlord Gems (they are still stacked)

I think it improves with time
If it's just the zoom effect that bothers you you can disable FOV effects, but if it's the slowness you can get movement speed increases in various ways (enchantments, affixes, skill tree...). And the more undead mobs you kill without dying, the less you get slowed/weakened by them.

1 automated rice is enough if you just use a dispenser to bonemeal the block 24/7. Getting bonemeal shouldn't be all too difficult with your skeleton farm ;)

the big remaining issue is that you're limited on which java versions you can use
I can see why for specifically server setup curse would suck, but for lan its just like connecting to any other modded game, make sure you have the same mods an just boot in
I would recommend using the server pack instead of singleplayer world-sharing, if you're going to use something like Radmin anyway

If muon doesn't have a better idea you could remove the 16x16x16 chunk part that contains the dread torch. Minecraft should regenerate the part upon loading into the world and hopefully it won't crash again.

I don't think they can break obsidian. Dragon spawn eggs cannot be put into spawners on MMC4, I don't know if MMC5 is any different.
Silk touch should work on spawners, maybe try it on a useless spawner first though.
Throwing those special eyes should lead you to a stronghold with an End portal. Might have to travel 20k blocks for it though.

You can make some slots blue, and that stops them from being sorted when you hit the button, but I find it doesn't work too well

i don't know why your crash assistant config wouldn't have updated, but yeah this is just iceandfire's own issue
you can't downgrade from this version so the best you can probably do is remove the torches using an NBT editor
they are aware of the crash, hopefully it's fixed soon

in the region file, you can search for values of iceandfire:dread_torch and iceandfire:dread_torch_wall and replace with minecraft:air
