To Summarize most of what each of the aforementioned minecraft mods add and what tweaks are needed for the aforementioned minecraft mods:
#1 = Bibliocraft = Numerous options for Displaying your loot and quite a few decorative options otherwise.
Would require some items being disabled due to being too modern and/or OP(Duplication of enchantments, SERIOUSLY GOOD, duplication of enchantments).
#2 = Horseshoes which can take Boot enchantments. = Makes Horses more Durable and capable.
#3 = Hexerei = Package/Letter Delivery system, unique decor, unique books for writing in, shulker + Ender Chest like storage, painting your own pictures you can hang on a wall, Mob spawning stoppers, an easier way to get leather, a block that gives 25% more planks per log and can strip entire stacks of logs at once, a companion that can fight, gather, harvest, and pick-pocket for you.
Requires Significant play-testing and possibly a patch due to affecting terrain generation.
#4 = The Graveyard =
Some Nice Mobs and Decor that can REALLY help with early game storage but alao adds in a huge underground structure that contains an Absolute Metric TON of loot making it good for farming simply swords uniques.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

Transferring Your World
If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".
Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.
I will try the launcher, thank u! My files are what was used to make the server/I'm the one who set up both so I know they're identical (I did just check again for sanity) but I'm the only one with this issue so far so I feel like it must just be a launcher issue. I'm also on a worse computer than everyone so that might play a part.

Hej guys, I am having a stroke looking through my simple storage with existing sorting options (by mod/ by amount/ by name). How do you cope with it? I thought this will be a solution to my storage issues, but it is useful only for crafting really
that's what the search bar is for?
I almost never use the search as I often look through categories of things instead of specific items
I mean for example here the default sorting separates ores from ingots and from solid blocks and from other non-ingot related items
and I can easily see things at a glance
plus I don't know most of the mods in the pack and seeing random new metal gives me a reason to check out the mod it is from
or just search #ingot for example in your storage system
there are like dozen of categories
it just goes off creative tabs probably
doesn't help much if I don't know what I am looking for

I'm hosting a server on bisecthosting, budget plan with 10 GB RAM. We are 2 players doing nothing in the same location, and the server lags. Someone can help pinpointing the issue? The RAM load seems ok, by console appears I'm using only 7-8 out of the 10.

How does one get the higher rarity Apothic affixes? Tiering up seems to require you to already have high tier stuff. Do they only drop from Bosses?
Check the top pinned message. It depends on the mob level, which in turn mainly depends on the amount of skill points in your skill tree.
*Grumble grumble* I deactivated scaling. It feels bad putting in enough points to become a master chef... and get repeatedly one shot by mobs.
And distance based mob scaling doesn't seem to be working right. I experimentally went a million blocks out, and didn't encounter mobs with levels in the thousands, like the configs say I should be
I believe muon said something of a default max level of 180, so yeah, won't be in the thousands.

You might want to consider changing the player-based scaling to 0.05 instead of 0.0 maybe.
Or try the distance-scaling at 0.1 per block instead of 0.005. Maybe you notice a difference.
Maybe. Generally I dislike the idea of player-based scaling, because getting stronger shouldn't make you weaker. Which is what will happen if your picks aren't meta-enough.
Region-based scaling means you actively go out to fight the stronger mobs
You're actively volunteering for harder fights in order to get better rewards
I understand what you are saying, but having kept the original configs I must say that you as a player will always become much stronger than mobs, unless you purposefully never upgrade any of your gear.
The problem I was facing was I was leveling up fast, faster than my gear was. Because I wasn't sure how apothic gear worked.

Ah, that was you? I remember that. Apotheosis in indeed the most important aspect in any of the gear you use (except in magic). If you got any questions regarding the mod, you can ask here.
If you really hate player-based scaling still though, you will have to try to increase the distance-scaling to such an extent that you can find high-level mobs somewhere, otherwise I don't see how you'll be able to find higher rarity items reliably.
Well, to start, what does Apothic Gear even DO? It doesn't seem to be giving notable defense buffs that would be needed to keep up with the mobs doing dozens of times more damage and having just as much health
the dimension and mob-specific scalings are greater than the player-based scaling
but if you play without player-based scaling, it will be impossible to get Esoterics
not that that really matters
Apotheosis can increase your stats (like armor, health, damage, speed etc, everything), and it can give you effects like "gain potion effect X when being attacked" or "inflict potion effect Y when attacking something". That can be very useful things like +25% armor when being attacked, or stunning enemies when you hit them. The higher the rarity of the material you use to upgrade your gear, the more attributes it can have, and with a certain work station (Augmenting Table) you can get exactly the attributes that you want.
Apotheosis also adds "gem slots", which you've probably seen. Those do pretty much the same thing as the affixes, and let you customize your stats-increases even more.
So the random drops aren't particularly good, tending towards effects that aren't the useful, and we're meant to break them down and reforge something with actually useful stats?

Once you get the Augmenting Table you can see all possible effects that you can get on your item.

So when I am attacked, I get instantly HP back, Bursting Vitality increases my healing received, Resistance is resistance, Monstrous II gives me 6 armor, 4 armor toughness, 100% knockback resistance, and Reinfoced gives me +25% armor.
Yeah, I can see that being powerful. I just had no idea Apothic could do that.
Have fun playing around with it. You can't really do anything wrong. The most cumbersome part is figuring out what all those effects actually do, because it integrates all potion effects from other mods, like Alex's Caves, Ars Nouveau etc.

Augmented Ancient Knowledge Potions are kinda broken, by the way. I'm easily getting over 500 levels in 2 minutes at my mob farm, and that's without the mobs being scaled
You do need them later for sure. I am at a point where I need to have some 1700 XP levels for the next skill point.

I'm a bit afraid too, since I ALSO messed with the XP scaling (it's just me and a friend together on the server and we want to be able to get the various crafting perks between us), and now I'm over level 100 :V
You don't need to set it back to the default 0.4, but if you do it at 0.1 or 0.2 it should allow you to get higher rarity materials. Then you can try it out on the reforging table and once you feel stronger you could increase it to 0.3 or 0.4.

I'm not sure. It works in single player because it loads configs upon starting the internal server for single player world. You can definitely try it.

Yes on my server its the cook and the citizens waiting to be fed, I removed the pathing edition for minecolonies mod and that seemed to stop that from occuring.

Okay, strange. To prevent the teleporting you could use a Charm of Anchored, but that won't prevent the nausea. I'd carefully examine all my gear to see if there is anything that could cause this though - perhaps an affix or attribute.
I can handle the nausea, it's just everything flipping so hard on top of that lol

You can use both Charm of Anchored as well as the affix "gain Anchored on hit", that should keep you afloat for quite a while.

There's a cheap and an expensive way to test this: either put all of your gear in a chest and go fist fight an enderman naked, or craft an Orb of Origin and see if the same happens with another origin but same gear.

Twilight Forest has its own progression, you just need to defeat the bosses in a certain order. Otherwise it's free to do whatever you want there.

I got the crash when a friend equiped a shield to the dummy and hit it
I've launched it successfully a hundred times with this file, so I doubt that's the problem.
While I am beating up the dummy frequently, I haven't equipped a shield to it. I'll test that next time I'm ingame.

I can't say I've tested them on mmc4 recently. Which arrows are you using + what affixes have you tested?
This is my bow. I tried it on mobs, on the target dummy and also by shooting myself.
I also tested two other "on arrow hit" affixes on random bows I found, but I salvaged them since.
My quiver has vanilla arrows in it.
(Bone quiver from Passive Skill Tree).
That bow might be firing projectiles that aren't AbstractArrows for some reason

The two random bows I tested were vanilla bows. I will craft another one though just to be sure.

The weird thing is that it's not "protecting" me, but preventing me from applying those effects on mobs. Without this item, even the Target Dummy gets all the effects.

@molten vigil You will have lots of fun with testing if you want to know what exactly is the issue. It's not just the Iron Bubble that is preventing me from applying those "on arrow hit" affixes, but also the Prestigious Palm:
The problem with "taking one off until it works" is that you won't notice if it's multiple items that cause the issue. So I went through all my curios items one by one. The result is that most of my curios items prevent the "on arrow hit" affixes to proc. Namely, all of these:

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

The beginning is typically the same as vanilla Minecraft: collect basic resources, find or build a place to live, go mining and obtain the basic equipment. Then you can look at all the items you have collected in the meantime and see if there's anything looking interesting to you - and explore that mod. The Quest Book that you've received at the start of the game can help you as well to understand basic game mechanics, and one of the tutorial-quests gives you guide books for a number of mods in the pack.
After acquiring basic stone tools and food, I recommend looting the vast structures on the surface of the Overworld. The biggest source of power will come from Apotheosis affix items, which are regular items with extra traits on them such as extra damage or armor. They also can come with gem sockets which you can smith gems into, which also come from chest loot. Looting structures will give you plenty of gear, gems, and resources such as Iron, Gold, Diamonds and experience.
You can also use experience to get skills in the skill tree. I would recommend starting with either the blacksmith section (for more gear perks) or the enchanting section (for stronger enchantments and reduced enchantment costs)
If you find a bunch of diamonds or other really good gear and a bunch of gems and affix items, you can look into salvaging them in a salvaging table to add affixes to your stronger crafted gear. Craft the Chronicle of Shadows book for more information if you get confused.
Once you get some initial gear and gems to insert into them, I would get started enchanting. You can craft much more powerful bookshelves later, but for now, either go for regular bookshelves, or if you're lucky and find an ocean monument or other structures with Prismarine, you can try going for Seashelves.
Once you get good gear enchanted, you can proceed to enter another dimension to further progress. I would recommend either Twilight Forest or the Nether. From there, it's more or less rinse and repeat in the new dimension to get even stronger.

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.
The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.
For further performance improvements, you can also follow this guide.
Reducing server render distance in the server.properties file is also a very good way of reducing lag. Most of our modpacks include mods like Bobby and Farsight, which make it so reducing server render distance will not affect players.

Deleting the Nether folder should indeed only regenerate with the same seed. What you could do is make a new world in creative, go to the Nether Biome you need and if it has the forest, explore the entire biome and then replace the Nether folder in your main world with the new one. Then you have one proper biome of these at least.

An issue that all the extra rarities have (not including Ancient) is that they don't have all of the affixes that the lower tiers do
Although the jump in some stats like armor and health is massive, at this tier of the game, the scaling is so high that the extra benefits don't really add much compared to some other benefits that other gear adds
The most glaring issue is that the physical damage affix for Artifact and above for armor is actually bugged and give damage resistance to fall damage instead.
So while Helmet and Boots you want to go Esoteric, Chestplate and Leggings benefit from Ancient more instead, especially with some of their attributes like Healing Received that you can't get on Esoteric.
Swords wins Esoteric pretty quickly with their 70% Current HP Damage
Pickaxes don't really make a difference and I'd say Ancient is better for its extra affixes, since Efficiency 15 is going to instamine pretty much everything that's not Ancient Debris or higher
Bows I'd say Esoteric, but it's not as massive of a jump in power
Ohh, that's interesting. I didn't know that not all affixes exist on esoteric. I just saw in the JEI "preview" that there is Resilience II on esoteric, which is +50% armor, that's pretty insane.
All in all, would you say it's worth grinding for esoteric rarity materials? As far as I can tell there are no mobs that can drop them except some of the bosses, so that'd be a pain to get in useful quantities.
Honestly? Probably not. The effort required to go through just to get one piece is already enough, not to mention a whole set (good luck with Curios)
You can already get incredibly powerful with Ancient, Esoteric is just the cherry on top
A good goal could be getting an Esoteric item, but I wouldn't go through the whole effort to get a full set
There is an item that lets you respawn various structures though so it's not impossible, just resource and time heavy
Pumpkraft was the only one I knew of and the owners have just been busy with j*bs
I see. Yeah, I might just upgrade to Ancient then and call it a day. I've spent about an hour so far with Maledictus (he respawns once every minute or so), and I used a full stack of Void eyes to respawn the Ender Guardian. Even with Looting XI, not a single drop.

So it's not unusual that I didn't get one with ~100 kills, but certainly too time intensive to get more than 1 item. Especially since you need at least 1 esoteric to craft the Reforging table, and if you're unlucky your first esoteric item gives only 1 esoteric material π

Honestly a really good idea might be to make it so that in the very very endgame, there's a rare chance for an Esoteric boss to spawn, with absolutely godly stats but it rewards you with an Esoteric item
That would definitely be fun. And still require a good amount of playtime without forcing you to die of boredom grinding.

Ofc the challenge (if it were to be added for the general pack) would be making it so that it only spawns in the endgame

Well, you could manually spawn a boss that guaranteed drops esoteric gear using Apotheosis, I think that's what cHin is suggesting
but the filters it provides for whether a specific boss should spawn is pretty barebones, there are dimensions, weight/quality (luck factor), and gamestages
none of that really matches up to "guarantee this boss only spawns when the player is 'late game'"

keep in mind that the reason we don't already include it is it may cause random crashes, but it should theoretically be a huge performance increase

It can if running out of memory is what's causing performing issues
but that will generally look like large consistent lag spikes every few seconds, not lag while exploring new chunks
and if you're allocating 12gb that's probably enough already
I would honestly recommend trying C2ME, others have said it worked pretty well on 1.21.1
The only thing would be making it more difficult to get into the dimension
Worst case scenario is disabling the Warden heart from dropping (it's only used to craft the Sonorous Staff, and who would do that anyway?) and instead make it a quest reward for maxing the skill tree.

Alright so bosses that I'm seeing that could be good Esoteric bosses include:

And don't hold back with buffing them up, it should be near impossible to defeat them without at least Mythic, if not Ancient gear imo. When I farmed the normal Maledictus, attempting to get an Esoteric, he died within 0.1 seconds from a single spell.
