Yw lol the left bar is for other accessories. Also if you die with your backpack on don’t worry about it, it’ll spawn next to your dead body just hit it and put it back on the way I told you.

Another tip if you are out in the world and need to sleep press the key to your backpack go back to the lower left hand side take it off.

Then put it in your hand crouch and right click to put it on the ground. Then right click it look at the lower left hand side again and click the bed. Make sure the bed has two blocks of space facing the back pack free from anything. Then just right click bed and sleep. After that just hit the backpack again to pick it up.

I don’t know if there is a easy way to put the bed down but this is just the way I know how to do it

Yes but it won’t be on your back it has to be on your hot bar. And then just right click that backpack to put more stuff in. I always carry two backpacks so I can make less trips back and forth

You also can’t put a backpack inside of a backpack which is why it has to stay on your hot bar if you wanna open it

Yes if you type travelers backpack in the jei you can see all the ones that pop up. Hover over them and if it says “ press shift for more info” then those are the ones with abilities

Honestly chorbs pic is probably best, just imagine those tanks on either side of a backpack and hoses going up to an almost binki shaped nozzel. Would make survival a bit better without needing to carry a bunch of canteens

yeah higher is less and lower is more but I put mine on 600 and also changed the world gen distance to spawn “ can’t remember the name exactly it’s something along those lines” to have a little distance between the dragon roost

You can also change how far the dragon can travel away from home

So you don’t really need to put 5000 just change a few other options so that way you can still easily find some

If you do how far the dragon can travel distance from home for that option lower is lower distance and higher is further

I’m playing 1.18.2 and I want to start playing without “Danny’s Expansion”, does anyone have any experience with removing it and continuing a play through? I don’t believe it enriches the gameplay at this point and the mundane slimes are beyond annoying. Maybe I’m just building in a bad location for them but there’s always five or six bouncing around at all times killing citizens and bumping into me while I’m trying to work on building placement. I just don’t want to mess up anything in my game, I just want the creatures from that specific mod to disappear.

Ok so I saw there was once a public 1.16.5 server for Medieval and I had a questions for my private server with a bunch of friends.

To give some quick info:

1. Optimization mods like : Ferrite, APTweaks, and Spark are installed to server only. This helped remove "server lag" and any possible TPS issues and extra ram usage (TPS is at 19/20 at all times)
2. The server already has 12gb for the 12 people max that will play on the server at once and ram always is on average 8-9gb and 10gb at most.
3. The server was pregenned with a radius of 300 chunks or about 5k block radius.

Whenever player count hits about 10 players TPS is still normal(19/20), yet mobs move slowly, players skip around, and block lag is oddly fine.

Do you know if whoever setup the server has a list of things added or blocked to cut down lag, or any specific mods that we could just outright remove to prevent this issue?

Alright, might as well ask here before doing a stupid and breaking my computer. Medieval MC is experiencing mini freezes which seem to be when the memory allocation fills up, mind it has 8 gbs allocated just to start with. My computer has 16gb ram, but I keep seeing warnings about using too much ram. Should I try 10gbs allocation and see if that helps? Hello, i have several questions, Im running a v7 server and armors don't seem to have an impact in gameplay, i have an ultemarite armor(upgraded nether) and skeleton arrows hit for 2/3 hearts every time, i have every other bonus, but the supposed armor bonus doesnt register, it seems like it's not a real upgrade, beyond the other bonuses.

Also, i want to disable commands as /rtp /tpa and others, just because the modpack already has enough traversal to be able to navigate the world and difficulty in the modpack is fostered by exploration. Hello, our server has a lot of issues while playing this 1.16.5 modpack, and im just wondering if its a modpack issue, or because of the fact that we only have 4GB of RAM for our server. (we know its not much, but just wanted to try).
the error that happens a lot in the console are:

• Changing UUID of duplicate entity ... (with all sorts of entities after that)
• Tried to load a block entity for block Block{minecraft:smithing_table} but failed at location BlockPos{x=-150, y=34, z=-1176}
• Changing UUID of duplicate entity (all different types of entity)

We are just debating if we are going to upgrade to more RAM, but if these errors are a modpack thing, then it might not help.

For the record, I don't think the answer to "what is best armor, weapons, etc" is ever actually simple as to understand why it is the best you have to know all the comparisons, pros, cons, etc of other stuff. The other question that never gets asked, which leads me to believe that a lot of people don't understand how minecraft power spikes, is hardly anyone will ask for the best enchant setup. Im having a bit of a strange problem. When my friend joins my server he has really poor connection and he cant play since its way too laggy for him. This doesnt happen with our other servers so Im not sure whats the problem here. Any recommendations?

Did you download the latest version of the shaders? The shader isn’t version dependent for example playing 1.16 doesn’t affect the game if you download the 1.19 file or whatever the latest is

The luck effect in minecraft affects loot tables (higher chance for higher quality loot), so if you can't use the luck effect from blue moon it just means that for whatever reason you won't get extra luck from the blue moon. Not sure if this would apply to other ways of getting the luck stat such as Luck Potions.

I like the simple shop as a server admin myself, our end dragon crashes our server so i disabled him and put all the loot in simple shop for a decent price, but then my buddy said we can make a villager sell whatever we want, idk how he did it but yeah our villager sells dragon heads now

so this is just my honest opinion, I did the recommended at first and quickly after 2 friends joined and started making their mob farms and such i could feel and see the lag on Gportal (Ticks behind) so i upped it to 8 but im thinking of bumping it to 10. so far theres only 2 of us on daily and some of lag spikes i feel are the chunks loading in from exploring.

So I have an issue with just getting Medieval 1.19.1 - 1.18.1 to start up on curseforge. I get this issue with it and wonder if I have tried to get MultiMC working (but for other reason I have 2 accounts and dont figure how to change). But anyway that is a seperate issue, i was wondering how to resolve preferable with Curseforge.

referring to some post i see:

1. No modification
2. Curseforge
3. 1.19.2 vanilla works
4. Java 8 update 341 (64-bit) recently updated
5. Crashes after 2 sec of loading
6. Haven't gotten past the crash and 8th attempt.
7. Crash 1 is what it state and the message i get is in the picture
8. First it isn't an allocation issue I'm asking about, second not entirely sure how i get mc 1.8 working, i did a slight of hand trick to get mc 1.9.2 installed as i only played 1.12 before.

Additional info: I've tried to work around since I have 1 migrated account and 1 in use on my OS... so its bit annoying to "change" launcher as it tries to make me do previously since that one refuse to use my proper account (which has Minecraft installed and bought)

Has anyone been able to get Terralith working with this? I noticed there used to be a bug with Terrablender and Repurposed Structures but both of those have been fixed. When I create a world with Terralith enabled, I am not getting any structures for most of the world except some here and there over vast distances. Many of the structures never seem to generate.

I have never looked at the recipe. It is the same as default.

Most people probably don't run into this issue because they probably just assume the Vanilla recipe works.

If it is your first time using JEI, it takes some time getting used to it, especially if you are accustomed to using Vanilla's built-in recipe manager to craft.

Ahhh ok. I am crazy and I do everything manually by dragging the items using the mouse gestures. It helps to be faster for recipes you already know, but I see how it would be cumbersome for ones you don't.

I did some more research on Terralith and the mods that are in this modpack. It looks like things should be working with Terralith and that structures should generate as normal in 18.2. I am not too sure why this isn't working. I noticed that the Fabric version of the mod has Terralith but the Forge does not.

seems i manage to fix the issue with making the mod version to 1.19.1 instead of the modpack default, then restart the modpack which it revert it back to v1.zip and now it works. Seems i needed to have it run normal (not sure it was normal tho) minecraft 1.19.1 version

reason i find it bit wierd is my brother did an attempt to just blindly download the modpack and it worked for him.. but it works now
