In order to use OptiFine, follow the steps below:
For 1.16.5 Forge: Remove Magnesium and Dynamic Lights Reforged, add OptiFine HD U G8 to the mods folder.
For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.

Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.

Guys I have question but its irrelevant about BMC or other modpacks. I just made myself a small modpack in 1.18.2 which contains 106 mod in it. My problem is after playing like 5 minutes its starting to lagging and my fps goes like 1 or 2 and my game shutting down. Okay hi! So I'm usually lurking in here and look for support by checking to see if anyone else has had problems already nrrdgiPfft

My friend is the owner of the server we play on but we cannot get it started for the life of us today. It locked itself last night at some point and she's been doing everything she can on her end to get it up again. (Yes, she uses Bisect hosting)

She's done a stop and start, checked both the articles in the knowledgebase for common errors, all mods are up to date (we only have a handful of non-modpack stuff installed) and now is getting this.
