some shaders tend to bre incompatible with large modpacks, i guess just try several & see which works. you could try messing around w/ video settings but no promises that'll work either

Figured it out, apparently it's because Nether's Exoticism isn't installed on v11?? Which is weird bc on the changelogs on the previous versions after v8 (the last version I played), it doesn't say it was removed. The modlists on those versions also don't have Nether's Exoticism as well

I found out the problem!

It’s not the mods fault it’s actually the nvidia drivers. I downgraded to a previous version and it fixed the problems. The newest driver come out just a few days ago maybe it’ll be fixed soo

1.16 has some of those features modded in, but to a lesser degree

In order to use OptiFine, follow the steps below:
For 1.16.5 Forge: Remove Magnesium and Dynamic Lights Reforged, add OptiFine HD U G8 to the mods folder.
For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.

Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.

How do I start a server on hosting? I downloaded the latest version of the server to my computer. I started start.bat, all files were generated and via FTP I transferred them to the hosting. In the hosting settings I have to specify .jar as the startup file. I specified "forge-1.18.2-40.1.25-server.jar", but the server won't start.

Well in terms of buffs ultimerite is the best especially because of fire,water,fall,void protection. But if you are to select an armour with better stats then i say go with unorithe armor with netherite fusion from the abyss

In order to use OptiFine, follow the steps below:
For 1.16.5 Forge: Remove Magnesium and Dynamic Lights Reforged, add OptiFine HD U G8 to the mods folder.
For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.

Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.

I have a question regarding an issue with my Better Minecraft 1.18 world. I random crashed when flying around with my elytra in the Everbright dimension and the crash had something to do with chunk loading. After trying to log in again a few times, my error turned from crashing, to a “disconnected” message, to an “invalid player ID” message, and now it will say “loading world” followed by my screen being frozen. When I hover over my minecraft application it says “minecraft 1.18 not responding.” Can anyone help me out?

Unfortunately there is not guide but as the name suggests it is better minecraft so what I prefer people is to just start like normal vanilla way get a bit powerful and then start exploring.

In order to use OptiFine, follow the steps below:
For 1.16.5 Forge: Remove Magnesium and Dynamic Lights Reforged, add OptiFine HD U G8 to the mods folder.
For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.

Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.
