I'm not sure if this is the right channel but I'm facing a problem. When I open the inventory or the crafting menu to craft something I cannot manually do so. It is kind of like I'm constantly pressing the shift button. The stack of a certain item would be shifted directly to the crafting menu even though I don't want it to. I assume I accidentally pressed a button but I can't figure out what I did. How can I undo it because I can't craft anything nor can I open my backback? Also if I wanna craft something it automatically craft the entire stack even though I might just want to have 4 sticks... I just dunno what to do?!

From my experience, I’d say the 1.16.5 version is better than the 1.18.2 version just because there are more mods. As for if forge is better than fabric, I think the 1.16.5 forge pack is better than is fabric counterpart, whereas I think the 1.18.2 fabric is better than it’s forge counterpart because it has more interesting mods.

1. I wouldn’t say that the updated mods make it superior over the 1.16.5 version because the 1.18.2 version is missing some mods that make the 1.16.5 good. I’d say that the only reason you would want to play the 1.18.2 version is just for the better caves.

2. Better Minecraft Plus is an entirely different pack from Better Minecraft. Better Minecraft Plus contains some of the community’s favorite mods but is extremely unbalanced as you can get pretty OP very quickly. Better Minecraft is more balanced than BMC Plus.

3. In my playthrough of Better Minecraft, I legit just played it as I would vanilla, and it worked. You could also follow the quest book for each dimension, and/or going exploring the over world looking for good loot. It’s not like RLCraft where you need to have a very specific play style to win.

make a simple storage network

go to the nether & make a hoglin farm then chunkload it so you have infinite leather & food running 24/7

if you turned on spawner pickup in the CarryOn config you could look for structures & add waypoints at the location of spawners so you can later go back & pick up the spawners and make a mob farm

get villagers, get vein mining enchant + mending + unb 3 on a pick, vein mine netherrack at y12-ish for netherite
