In order to use OptiFine, follow the steps below:
For 1.16.5 Forge: Remove Magnesium and Dynamic Lights Reforged, add OptiFine HD U G8 to the mods folder.
For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.

Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.

If you're on BMC you're going to be going quicker than you can load chunks with elytra. That's just the way it is.

the first pack i installed was the 1.16.5 version, but then i wanted the caves and cliff world gen and stumbled across the 1.18 version of fabric, i didnt think there was such a massive difference between forge and fabric and assumed the 1.18 version simply had less going for it cause it was newer

In order to use OptiFine, follow the steps below:
For 1.16.5 Forge: Remove Magnesium and Dynamic Lights Reforged, add OptiFine HD U G8 to the mods folder.
For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.

Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.

Play it vanilla and eventually you'll find cool things and notice stuff. If you find an item you don't know what you can do with press "r" on it in your inventory. You can also scroll through the Even More Items menu to the left of your inventory if you wanna explore. I believe there are some helpful general tips pinned in this channel. Most importantly, feel free to ask questions if you get stuck. 🙂
