also if thats the only time its a problem then you might just have to live with it, maybe lower the render distance when you are fighting bosses

hmmm...so i can see there is the stoneholm mod in my pack - the one that creates underground villages that look gorgeous (Captain Sparklez found one in his forge video) but the explorer's compass lists that the structure spawns in unmentioned dimension (so it can't look for it) and when i went on the configs for the mod in game, everything is greyed out, nothing is selectable (so you can't see the config etc)

any vanilla tree i agree with, but some of the modded ones go quite far out so if you arent farming them on flat ground it can be a bit of a pain
