In order to use OptiFine, follow the steps below:
For 1.16.5 Forge: Remove Magnesium and Dynamic Lights Reforged, add OptiFine HD U G8 to the mods folder.
For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.

Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.

i go into room, place half-slabs on entrance, run to the exit, place half-slabs there, then either clear the room (and crouch back when needed or break/collect spawner

but i think they will try to hit you if you are exactly at 2 blocks

cause they can see your hit box

while when you crouch below a 1.5, they see you, come closer and then can't see you to hit you 😄

if you are in the nether, you can look for mining shafts under the lava lake (easier to spot on the minimap when they are under a lake) and since those spawn on the levels where ancient debris spawns, you have lots of open surfaces to spot it and mine easily.

Also in the nether - piglin outposts (like pillager outposts but with piglins and piglin brutes) on the top have two chests that have a good chance for dropping netherite scraps

otherwise, you want to look for Foundry - it is a rare structure that spawns below ground and contains really difficult things and nice loot, but on the upper layer, it has tons of spawners of mobs that drop a lot of netherite loot.. so you can smelt those for ingots

well foundry is pretty rare structure so if you are looking specifically for it, likely /locate will be your best bet 😄

i feel very lucky by founding maps to it (in 1.18.1), but in 1.18.2 it seems the maps are broken currently

well, you can easily get everything you need to get to the end (blaze powder and ender pearls) just exploring overworld.. if you craft a nature compass, get to badlands (hoping they are close) tower up next to a bandit tower then close off the entrance to the mobs, you can loot the upper chests which have enchanted diamond gear, enchanted bows, plenty of gold and iron, and food, and often - ender pearls and blaze powder as well.. 😄

but you wouldn't be really "completing" the game

since there are a lot of bosses and a lot of other dimensions

So what you want to do, is when you enter the arena, DO NOT WALK UP TO HIM. You want to stand just close enough to place a three block tall wall in front of him that's at least four blocks wide. Then stay on the outside of the room, mining up the cobblestone pillars so you don't have to get close to the knight. Get to one of his sides and build the same wall as before. Put a three block tall wall all the way around the knight, and then remove the bottom two blocks of the wall so a ring of blocks is left.

This will make it so he can't move around besides turning.

Now, make sure you keep his attention, cuz if he loses interest and goes back to his inactive lose, he will regenerate health.

To fight him, he with do a stomp, a swing, and a vertical axe slam. Avoid his swings as they will one shot you, just heal up after his stomp attack, and bait out his vertical chop. When he chops, the Axe with get stuck, leaving his back exposed.

Run behind him and slash at the beach in his armor where the diamond sword is sticking out of his back.

It is pretty quick and easy once you learn his animations. Though, I recommend setting a temporary spawn point because you will die while figuring out his attack patterns.

His loot is worth the trouble. The helmet is enchantable and has infinite durability, and the axe has infinite durability and two special attacks. Right click does a sweep from left to right that damages all mobs in front of you, and shift+right click does a vertical chop that does lots of damage to entities Infront of you in a straight line@real silo

In order to use OptiFine, follow the steps below:
For 1.16.5 Forge: Remove Magnesium and Dynamic Lights Reforged, add OptiFine HD U G8 to the mods folder.
For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.

Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.

In order to use OptiFine, follow the steps below:
For 1.16.5 Forge: Remove Magnesium and Dynamic Lights Reforged, add OptiFine HD U G8 to the mods folder.
For 1.18.2 Forge: 1.18.2 comes with Oculus that gives you Shaders with 90% less load times. If you want to use Optifine then remove the Oculus, Rubidium and Dynamic Lights Mods then add Latest 1.18.2 OptiFine to the mods folder.

Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.

ok so you make normal shield, then you put three iron ingots around it (left, right and below) to make it iron, then repeat the same with diamonds to get it to diamond

different mods, vanilla changed a lot between the two versions in terms of biomes, etc

1.16 has more complete quest line and more mods,

not all of them have been upgraded to 1.18 and some probably are not gonna be upgraded at all, so there are alternatives and different things happening

hey all, i love the mod pack but ive recently run into an issue with java on my PC and have no idea how to fix the issue. Java Open JDK Platform Binary keeps "not responding", only when i load using the modpack from curseforge. I have a copy of crash report if needed.
