In the modpack folder there should be one folder called "shaderpacks" drag your shader into that folder

If there isnt you'll have to download optifine to it and uninstall 2 mods

Ive been trying to make a decent xp farm, and so far theyve kinda been sub-par

Like i have a kelp smoking xp farm with filled hoppers and what not, but it seems in forge theyve patched the bit where if youve got hoppers full of a cooked thing and you take the cooked thing out the smokers it always gives you xp for the cooked food in the hopper. But that seems like its patched.

I also have a decent little mob farm that drops them onto slabs just a heart away from killing them, so you can go and kill them all in one swing, but that also is kinda slow and doesnt work for a ton of levels, like 3-5 at most every 10 minutes

You can make straw golems to help farm wheat, and that really helps a fair deal. Plant as much wheat as you can id say and bonemeal it as you see fit to feed yourself

For 1.18.1 Forge: 1.18 already has a Mod that adds Shader Support and it is called Oculus, if you really want to use Optifine then remove the Rubidium and Oculus Mods.

Optifine Issues are not Supported in the Github however it shouldn't be an issue asking in the Discord for help.
