You'll need to install Optifine, meaning remove magnesium (extras too if you want since it'll be useless) and dynamic lights reforged from the mods folder and add in the optifine jar

They will have to use later versions or the one that just came out (39.0.55)

I'd suggest just using the forge version that was mentioned in the patch notes (latest one that we used, not latest forge release), no need to constantly update it past those ones, less of a chance for forge related issues that way

Just wondering how do you all do it when a update comes. Cause sometimes a mod gets replaced, so items just disappear. Or even blocks. Do you all start over again or replace blocks that has changed cause of a update? Or do you not update at all and just play the one you downloaded at first?

Some stay on the same update, other's manually re-add the mods that got removed so nothing gets disrupted in their world, others just go with the flow of the update

for 1.16 i think the armour from the abyss mod has the highest specs, but there is an advanced/upgraded netherite mod that lets you upgrade your netherite gear to add a crazy amount of special abilities but with the specs of netherite

Hey so I just completed the void worm. You have to follow the steps of the end aka killing an ender guardian and getting the capsid and crimsom larva from the rewards in the quest book. go to the end and place the capsid down then click the capsid with the larva. It will change into a blue worm which you then need to get out of the capsid and throw into the void. This will summon the void worm and upon killing it you get everything for the abyss. That being said the void worm was not easy XD im in full netherrite and died a lot

Hello guys, i need some advice, i've been trying to find a best way to farm for wither skeleton skull. Nether Fortress spawn almost none of them for some reason, Naga also very rarely spawn (i'm in Bone Reef biome), my render distance is at 10. Trying to find Stalwart dungeons for incomplete WS but no luck. Rn i'm farming in a Basalt temple but the spawner is too slow and only 5 of them spawn at max no matter how deep i dig. Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is better asked somewhere else so apologies if this is the wrong area.

I'm trying to run a server with some friends of mine, I managed to get it all working yesterday. We flew around in creative mode just looking at some stuff in the game before we actually play, to get an idea how the modpack would actually work.

After this, I deleted the World folder as I thought the server would just generate a new world. Now whenever I run the server (This is now the following day), I'm getting the following error, and unable to go any further?

I have deleted the server folder, and re-installed it, but the exact same error is still occuring whenever I run the server bat.
Since I've reinstalled it, I thought it would be a fresh server but the bat isn't even running far enough to generate the eula.txt document.

Another thing to note is that I got a java update lastnight which I thought may've affected it? I have reinstalled java also.

Server and client are two different things

I have a multiplayer server and am connecting to it from the better minecraft client

I have the previous versions world folder. The one installed in my server folder, NOT in the instances folder that better minecraft installs in

The client doesn't matter in this case since it's on a server, the server is what matters for world data which includes player inventories

Yep custom starter gear is overriding the inventory and removing all items in it

Actually that's probs cause you didn't remove magnesium before placing Optifine in the mods folder

remove magnesium (extras too if you want) and dynamic lights reforged

Btw the java version ran on there is _51, way before the forge breaking changes

Not really, it just means one less mod to load since it requires magnesium to work which won't be included so pointless to have

also it seems like my shift key is 100% locked and i cant rebind my keys

everytime i bind my keys it has SHIFT key on everything

Already have a v14 local server setup for testing something else

Try a manual install

Most likely they have a messed up one again

Ultimately, if that log is the same for all the other crashes, it's their install that is messed up
