If you're on windows you can download OpenJRE straight from ninite

Just make sure it's not the 1.8 version

Well, if it works without OF, then it's an optifine issue that we don't really help with. Optifine conflicts with too many things and has too many issues

So they do spawn, just rare as hell

So most likely the latter is true, mob cap is being taken up by some other mobs making it rare for Hoglins to spawn

While I want to say it should in theory, I feel the best way would be load the two mods onto a separate test profile, and see if they cause the wolfs to conflict. The reason I say in theory is because Doggy Talents makes it's own entity after you convert the wolf if I remember right so it shouldn't conflict with Revamped Wolfs changes. Cause that's what you were asking right? If the two mods conflict with each other?

I'd suggest testing some of their mechanics, like the battles, gyms, catching the pixelmon, etc to verify all work and do not have crashes associated with them. Always good to test the mod itself past just a startup test

Right click on the modpack in my modpacks screen, click on change version, set the version to what you want, make sure 'update to new profile' stays unchecked, click continue. Make sure to backup the saves folder first before loading the world on the new version, that way you have a safe one to use on the old version in case something goes wrong

Well it's very simple, you need to craft The Dark n' Light (echo...echoo....echooo), and you can craft it the same as a Light n' Dark but you need to use Grimstone [which you can get while smelting Deep Stone (which you can obtain by smelting the Cold Deep Stone)] and you need to simply insert a Gold Ingot (right click whit a Gold Ingot in hand) and BOOOM, suddenly, you're in the overworld where you're world spawn point is! Mods are okay to distribute as said explicitly by Mojang themselves, pirated or cracked is not

There is a difference as one requires the use of the official launcher, one does not

One requires payment to mojang first, the other does not

It's why forge and fabric has been allowed to stick around

Probably one of the partial reasons for datapacks is that it's way easier than learning Java to create a mod

Not fully, I've actually done a few things for datapacks, they aren't like mods since the system has been pre developed

Also datapacks are json files

But yeah, overall, mods are alright by Mojang, assuming they don't illegally distribute source code, which would then be not modding. Tlauncher being a pirated client is not legal and against Mojang.

They can be confusing since technically mods do sometimes modify source code, like optifine does if I remember right, they just remain legal by being closed source rather than open source.

That's the limit of my knowledge on the subject though

hi! gonna give this another shot. we're playing 16.5 and just updated from v53 to v53.5. after updating, random glitches started happening like turning all cats (tamed and untamed) into the same cat standing in one place, villagers sleeping in bed sideways, etc. we tried a server fix through bisect but it didn't work. any ideas?
