I just looked into it, as long as the java you get is for aarch64 architecture, it should work on the M1 mac, at least according to multiple sites I found. Adoptium has a java 17 release for in case you can't find one. Just make sure to set their search to what I show in the screenshot.

Soooo.... I noticed after updating to V50, the right click actions 50-70% of the time double. It's repeatable using my Logi G604, Razer Naga Pro, a Corsair Harpoon on a different computer and everyone on my server has confirmed the issue exists. Even right clicking chests will most of the time result in a half stack of something random being grabbed. Placing blocks is obviously challenging as a result. Anyone on the team aware of this or does anyone know of a fix?
Edit : To be clear, the issue may have been present on prior versions. But I've only confirmed it on 50 so far. It also exists in single player.

Can't tell you with that version, but upgrading from 46 to 50 caused the world gen to change this creating ugly cliffs and seams in the world. I'd tell them to make a copy of the server folder, then do the upgrade to be safe.

I was wondering if there is a significant difference between the mod pack for version 1.16.5 and 1.18. Also, if I made myself or bought a server with this mod pack installed would I have to get my friends to install the mod pack on their client? Thanks in advance.

For your first question, 1.16.5 has the most content but lacks a few of the features included in the 1.18 update, like the world gen and height changes. The 1.18 of course has those features, but has less mods due to not as many mods being updated to 1.18 yet. As for the second question, they would have to have the exact same modpack version you have installed on the server, so for example the latest of 1.16.5 is v51 and if that's what's on the server, everyone playing would need the same v51 version

JEI is your friend, it's on the right of the inventory screen, it has special keybinds to see the recipes of items or the uses, you can see and set those in the controls section to whatever keys you like

How can i join a better minecraft server?

i've done what's written in README.txt but the server ain't starting

The remotes from the Better Storage mod are being weird on a server that my friend has hosted. They are suppose to have infinite range but if I walk too far from the node I eventually lose access to my storage network. I've tried using blocks from the mod to try and fix it but it might just be the chunk that the node is in gets unloaded.

Yooo Guys, can someone help me real quick? I just downloaded BMC, the last one I found from Curse Forge (1.18.1), and I wanted to know which new dimensions are available in BMC

I tried to find it in the mod list, but I couldn't find anything...

after adding optifine and deleting magnesium and dyncamic lights, I gets stuck on FML Early Loading Progress(Not responding) it just stops at "Completed deep scan of CreateAddition"

im not sure if its because of the version of optifine im using or if its because i need to wait.

yes but still when i drag optifine in the mod folder my game doesnt open and crashes

What version of Optifine are you using? Does it crash if you launch without Optifine?

1.16.5 and no it works fine without optifine

I know this might be akin to "try turning it off and on again" but perhaps maybe redownloading the modpack and starting from scratch might help.

If it doesn't work after that then maybe the mods it said to remove are called something different from their titles. (Unless you already did that before but you didn't see them or find them in the modlist?)

yes i did that just now and it launched but while loading at the end it just gets stuck and crashes

How much RAM have you given your game? Its a setting in your Forge launcher, I'll post a picture of how to get to there if needed.

Hi I was looking through the changelog for better minecraft 1.16 V51 and it mentions that when abyss 2.0 comes out it requires a new world. Is that just the abyss dimension that needs to be reset or also the overworld?

it has been transformed into 1.18, so if you go into the 1.18 pack and cycle pack a few versions it should be 1.17
