Should be an option saying Shaders, open that, click open shader pack and put your shaderpack that you downloaded into that. Then it'll show in the shaders page, just select it after that

You do have it in there from what we can see, so the issue now is finding out why it isn't loading, possibly the (1) is affecting it but I doubt that would for some reason. Just a random thing that probably won't work but doesn't hurt to try

Are your frames still horrible even after finishing the fight and leaving the chunks that the fight was located at?

No idea really, could be a whole matter of things, possible related to the fight, possibly related to something on your computer slowing it down, etc

Can you try creating and loading a new world to see your frames there?

Probably the boss, still try the new world as a baseline test. Since it is fresh, it should have the normal fps

While not fast, the best way to farm it is to make a mimicube farm that produces mimicream, then using mimicream on dimensional carver to create a 1 durabillity copy of it which you can repair with mending enchant. Then uncrafting the dimensional carver to get 2 netherite ingots. While the set up is lenghty its fairly fast way to get netherite imo.

Well, 1.18 requires java 17

1.8 is used for mc versions 1.16.5 and below, java 16 for 1.17, and java 17 for 1.18

For some, it required them uninstalling any instance of java 17, downloading it themselves, restarting their computer, and then it worked

Don't worry, it's not something that is posted on the front of the launcher because MC typically includes it with the install, but that can be iffy sometimes when it comes to modpack profiles

Weird, I honestly don't know what's causing it to hang and stop responding. Best thing I can say is try a fresh install on a new profile so you don't lose anything, and try the process again, and if that doesn't work, you might just have to deal with no OF. I'm unable to replicate any of these issues on my comp so it's difficult to figure out a fix from my end.

Its pretty similar to enderman farms, just instead of endermite use villager. Also spawning conditions of mimicube are that they only spawn in end city, so you might have to destroy an end city to create flat area where it once stood. Also gotta spawn proof area around it using mega torches(they have radius of 64 blocks). I don't have the world i built it in anymore so dont got any pics to show exact design.

By itself as a fresh install, the pack should launch, if you want to add in optifine, there's a few extra steps. Typically the exit code 0 is from people adding in optifine without removing the needed mod, so it's why I defaulted to that as a possible cause

That's in case you had a crash report, with your issue, it wont generate one because it's related to java itself, just explain the error you get, the binary one

Did you add in optifine? If so, remove magnesium from the mods folder. Common cause of an EC0 crash.

I'm going to guess that's related to his side with internet or his communication to Shockbyte. Best way to fix it is by going through Shockbyte's customer service. Most server issues are like that when you are having a third party service host your server, since it's not always related to the modpack.

Quite a bit, 1.18 is still a very fresh version, so most authors are either fixing up their 1.18 versions or in the midst of porting it over. It'll be a while before 1.18 reaches the state of 1.16.5, but I'm sure it'll become another milestone version like 1.12.2 and 1.16.5.

Easiest to resolve with a full crash log instead of a tiny snippet of it. That tells us nothing of the cause except for a out of bounds error, which has a wide array of causes.

I'm trying to figure out this weird baby-mobs-render-as-adults problem that I'm having with this modpack, and I've seen a few others in here have too. I'm running v45 of the modpack. In my client logs, I'm constantly spammed this with every entity I have loaded:

This is happening with a baby sheep I just bred, so it's definitely somehow being applied to new mobs, not just ones that spawned with the world.

Regarding shads Jr's previous comments in here, I'm running on a new world and I've looked though the Caves & Cliffs code, and while there are mixins that modify entity rendering, they don't modify any age/growing methods or anything that I think could break this.

It seems like somehow every mob is given the wrong NBT data for aging; 'old' instead of whatever it should be. Or maybe something changed how entity aging is parsed? Is there a mod or datapack that could be doing this?

After updating to 1.8 (via gdlauncher) we can run the fabric version just fine, but forge throws an exception

Hello we have 3 problems on our server (v45):

1. we don't have baby mobs, so even if we breed for example sheep together the child is already big but you can't shear it. Baby zombies also look like normal zombies except the sounds and that they are faster.
2. tamed animals do not stay tamed so after some time you have to tame them again and again. I've had that so far with dogs and cats. And sometimes you can't make them sit down anymore.
3. if I dye the wool of a sheep and rejoin the server the wool is white again. But when I shear it I get the color I dyed the wool with before.
   Has anyone had the same problems and can possibly help me?

if you mean magnesium it's because it's far far far better for framerates than optifine is

only reason you use optifine over it is for shaders

you can either download the pack again (which I do)

I keep multiple instances incase I ever need to fall back to earlier versions

or you can right click the instance

click manage

then when that window opens go to "modpack"

and from there it lets you swap between versions of the pack

Back up your save before doing either of these, so there is no accidents :)

creating new instances is more steps

but leaves you with an older instance you can easily swap to

the 2nd option is less button clicking but I have no clue its effects on saves/etc because I've never used it (didn't even know it was possible at first)

if your doing the multiple instance route, you can access save folders by right clicking an instance, clicking "open folder" and then navigating from there like any other version of MC

Nvm, I see someone already talked to you about it in general, in case you missed it. We do not support illegal launchers, which Tlauncher is. Please buy MC and/or use an authorized 3rd party launcher like Curseforge or GDLauncher. Also helps to not post for help in multiple places, so there's not situations like this where people help when the situation has been fixed. I never check general, so hence why I had asked without seeing someone answered already.
