That is from the mod enhanced celestials, I don't see anything specifically in the config that lets you disable the blood moon, but if you want to double check, you can look at the config for the mod, overall tho, might have to just set the chance to really low and do the same with the spawn cap adjustment, or just delete it entirely

So same process if you are running the server and the host allows it or if you are self hosting

Now if you aren't running it, and the host won't add in new mods, then you can only add in clientside only

Not yet. I only started 3 or so hours ago. The only way I've been able to reset the constant damage is by dying, and it comes back after about 15 minutes. I think it could be related to the mod "Survive", but I'd already completely disabled it's functions before playing. I'll keep searching.

So what we ended up doing was rotating to 16.5 v 44, and did the whole Y=5 shaft mining, and after a few hours I had enough to outfit all three of us playing in full suits and equipment.

Also, we are working through Twilight forest for the first time, and that really also helps takes the pressure off the diamond hunt, as the green leaf armor is almost on par with diamond.

Frequently there's a jerk that will spawn in caves or small areas around. You can ring the bell to see them glow through rock. Move the bell as needed around until you hear their grunts and ring it.

Yeah, one thing to remember is that updating will reintroduce magnesium, so you'll have to remove it in order to use optifine every time you update

All the features that 1.18 introduces, other than that currently it has the least mods compared to the other versions due to a lack of forge mods updated to 1.18 atm, perhaps some other various mods too but overall it's probably something that will take a little in order to be up to par in terms of content and such like the existing 1.16.5 version.

It's hard! I don't want to regret hosting a server that ends up meh. We played a lot of Vanilla last year and trying to go with a modpack that will give us a lot of things to do.

Then go for the plus version

Overall, the most content will be on the 1.16.5 version, with the plus version having even more in it. One thing to keep in mind though is that plus is a little more demanding on resources, with recommended ram for client at 6gb on normal better mc 1.16.5 and 7gb for plus.

Pretty much just try out both, skim through what they have and such, see what you and your friends feel like would be best and go from there

Hey all, I'm trying to run the 1.18 version of better minecraft forge and am running into the error "could not create the java virtual machine". I've added more memory allocation to java, reinistalled java, and reinstalled BM. Still crashes

Does anyone know if I can find a comprehensive list of all enchantments I have access to ?

I mean, obviously there's the Minecraft wiki but I don't even know which mods add enchants, and not all of them have an in-game description

There's the mod enchantment descriptions that will show most of the enchants in game, as for a comprehensive list, JEI is your best bet then looking at each mod individually to see if they have documentation if the mod I mentioned first doesn't say it
