New direction -- I've disabled custom map trades in all the configs I could find, and I'm going to edit and recompile the mods that change cartographer trades but don't have config options (The Graveyard and Better Dungeons, AFAIK)

don't know that much about datapacks, so specifying trades in there might be easier, but I don't know if there are trades from mods I might lose

The freezes happen in my singleplayer world too. Seems to be linked to the graveyard explorer maps, I think it is the large graveyard explorer maps that cause it

It was The Graveyard mod that was responsible. I commented out the file that managed villager trades and recompiled, no more crashes

The new mod for tamable spiders has an update wich lets you heal them now, mod author forgot to add that on the first version. And also i cant get the achievement for killing the warden on bettermc 1 .16.5 v40, killed it 4 times but nothing

Gameplay tips
• You start with a quest book listing major goals. Click the icons to show info and claim rewards. Move your mouse left to expand the list of chapters. If you lose the book, you can craft a new one or set a hotkey for Open Quests.
• The first quest awards an Akashic Tome, which contains informational books that can be swapped by left- and right-clicking. It can be combined with other books in the crafting table. More info books about the custom dimensions are obtained as you progress.
• The advancements menu also contains info about available features.
• The JEI interface (to the right w/ inventory open) is your best friend. Search "@modname" to look up items for a specific mod.
• Mouse over an item and press U to see its uses or R to see its recipes.

• For extra storage, craft a backpack with leather and iron and open it with B. Backpacks can receive modifications and upgrades.

Yes, and how it works as far knows there is 3 seasons and each have 3 check markers, wen a mount of day and night cycle passed one of marker gets filled up - wen it reaches over the third marker, a new season begins. I belive you can change its config how fast it goes.

hi, im playing better minecraft forge v39 on a system server (.bat), logging myself in via curse forge launcher.
im planning to update to v40 of the modpack. questions:

1. for my client minecraft: can i just rightclick my curseforge version, go to "versions" and click the checkbox to update to the newer version? anything i need to backup, like for example the worldmap (xaeros or what its called) if yes, which folders are these things in?

2. for the server: i guess i should backup the world folder, but can i just download the v40 server version, delete the mods folder in my old v39 and drag and drop all the new folders into it? or should install the whole sever from begin again?

3. is it worth it to update? it says "many big mods were updated", doesent say what changed though? i had no problems with the illagers generation so far, so i wonder if i dont lose more than i gain from updating (content wise)?

if they are in the second row from the right, because they have nowhere to grow. there needs to be an empty block directly beside the block you planted the seed on. does not need to be tilled

no problem. also, idk if you know this, but for crops on farmland, you only need 1 water block to water all the farmland within a square around it. it will water 4 blocks of farmland away.

I’ve only just recently figured out the dynamic view distance mod being the culprit. The dynamic view distance mod sensed my computer having extra headroom so it kept turning up the viewing distance. It’s fine for me cuz local hoast. But the data being sent over the internet is too much for our connections to handle

Iris is Fabric only, so unless you switched to Better Minecraft Fabric you're stuck with Optifine
