Those 8 items in sets of 1, 2, 4, and 8 will get ur netherite upgrade ingots

Combine them with a netherstar u get 1 ultimerite

Repeat 3 more times u get a full set

For most people unless you have farms the real trick to it is wither skulls or netherite itself but farming those 2 things from dungeons is a life saver

instead of getting skulls from the dungeons - go to the large oriental style tower (i cant for the life of me remember what it's called but it's white and green and very tall with very japanese style roofing etc) and in there are loadsss of wither skeleton spawners - hide behind a 2 high wall and boom you're sorted (or be OP like me and use the spawners to build a quad wither skeleton farm and get 70 skulls in an hour with an autoclicker every 1-2 seconds 😎 )

it's not in the cage. put it into a minecart. but it seems theres a bug at least when using spawn eggs that it won't get attacked. made one with pearls in creative on single player and it got attacked instantly. found bug reports with similar things happening for 1.16 versions

@jovial rain Regarding the Shaderpack issue from yesterday, I started by removing only the new mods to V5 to ensure it wasn't an issue with one of the V4 mods that were updated. I did not have the issue when removing those 20 or so new ones. Still experimenting, but I haven't found the culprit yet.

@jovial rain SMH, I figured it out. Its not actually a mod specifically causing the issue. Its the config files for both Drippyloadingscreen and fancymenu.

If you remove the built in configs, and relaunch, the configs regen and you get the basic version of the mods for those two. Or you can just remove them and their respective configs

Honestly that's better than I'd hoped. Not actually losing any content, just some fancy loading screens. Just opened and closed the game 4 times to be sure. Issue is resolved if you remove those two configs

Workaround was deleting the optionsshader.txt, but I can now confirm the issue is those two menu mods not working with Optifine right now.

Fully deleting both mods and both configs have resolved the issue. Bonus is those are both client side only, so it didn't affect my server at all

Hi, anyone knows a good shaders for BM?

BSL is what I usually see for survival, but if your going for realism, SEUS is your bet.

SEUS usually glitch out some textures on my end, you may experience those problems too. Caves are also darker. Enchanted items are brighter on some entities. This is why I don’t recommend SEUS for BM survival, but overall the realism in those shaders are insane.

BSL doesn’t really ruin textures. BSL is more FPS friendly aswell. Also, its More customizable. There are still some downsides you may experience though.

Sildurs is also good for both realism and survival. But on my end, its very heavy on FPS. It may not be for you though.

its a bug with optifine and 2 of the mods. you can either just delete the 'optionshaders.txt' file in the root of the instance every time

or you need to delete the config.txt files in both fancymenu and drippyloadingscreen folders, in the \configs\ folder

that 2nd one is a perm fix but you lose the fancy menus etc

I switched to setting up 1.16.5, I changed my game version but do I need to download an older version of Forge before downloading the modpack?

Hello everyone, I'm hoping to add a mod that requires Optifine but Optifine is making my game crash on startup. I'm reading through some of the messages above, but am unsure of whether or not optifine is supposed to work at all. Is there a way to fix this?

its goint to be some mod left some debug code in, not something sharkies enabled

Unless there's something else I messed up while changing resource/shading options.

All I'm trying to do it make villagers less annoying by using the human villagers mod.

It was working as expected, and I went and found a silent villagers mod, but when I restarted the game the crashing returned.

or remove both the configs for drippyloading and fancymenu (both have a folder in configs)

Was looking to get a little help with two things. Firstly does anyone know how to make it so the shulker shells go back to stacking? And secondly, when ever I try to do a raid I can never make it past the first round because the bar says there are 1 or 2 enemies left even though after searching I never find them even underground.

Hello there! So i had a question about this modpack, the 1.16 one specifically. I went to install and play it and it kept crashing in the load screen, and i was finally able to get into the game and it crashed shortly after as well. I play some other modpacks that have more mods installed with no issues. Heres a ss of enigmatica 6 that has about 100 more mods and loads/runs great

if anyone has any ideas/fixes to why the modpack wont run will be greatly appreciated

Is there a reason launching and loading up forge 1.16.5 is taking me like 3-5 minutes compared to the 30 seconds in the instructional videos? Just shows memory heap (numbers)/8903 mb off heap: 356 mb, and the percentage repeatedly goes up and resets back down until it eventually stops where it says freezing data, takes another minute or so from there before mod loading is complete.
It's the same on both my PC's, we've got a very fast internet connection and top of the line PC's

true, i would imagine it would scale the same. each armor bar being ~4% damage reduction but im not 100% sure on that when it comes to modded armors

if you dont change it in your bios it will default to a slower speed

thats.. a server pack

servers dont generally need map mods as they run client side

so its perfectly normal for server pack to have less

other examples.. stuff that modifies how sounds play. server doesnt care about that

you should be using a launcher like curseforges or GD etc to download the pack. that top green file is a profile zip that they read

then download the 200+ mods and setup configs etc

to set the ram globally is the cog wheel in the top bar

you can also adjust how many threads it can have for downloading

and just copy your world across from old launcher to this one (usual right click->open folder etc)
