Hey, I installed the modpacks but there are no shaders (no optifine) but a lot of youtubers/streamer have shaders in this modpack installed. If I try to install the newest OptiFine version the game crashes at the loading screen. Is there any other way to install shaders that work with this modpack?

Does anyone know of campfires don't damage mobs in the 1.16.5 v38.5 version of this pack? I tried building a gunpowder farm in creative and the creepers just stood on them taking no damage.

I could also have just as easily messed up how you make it.

Hmm maybe I should word the question a bit different. I am currently using the Steven's Traditional 1.17 Resourcepack. And if I place a large quantity of any block, like bricks, some get a texture that is not included in the pack (Screenshot attached) any way to fix that ?

Hello 🙂

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I'm struggling to get the server pack to work. I am getting a "mismatched mod channel list" error. The description for the server pack says to ignore it due to clientside mods needing to be removed, but you can't join the server due to the error. I followed the read me correctly & have hosted plenty of MC servers. Thanks for any help you can provide

Hello all, I recently updated my 1.17.1 to V5 and now every time I try to launch the game, the game crashes. I have figured out that it is related to shaderpacks. Deleting the optionsshaders.txt file and then launching the game fixes the issue and shaders can be re-enabled, however after closing and attempting to relaunch, the issue returns and you have to repeat. I have tried BSL and Complementary. Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

My group recently updated from v35 to v39 with a clean world and only imported over our characters - currently our warpstones have a around a 70 day cooldown, and destroying them/crafting new ones results in the same cooldown. Anyone have any idea what would cause this or a possible fix?

Just following up one more time-

I recently updated my 1.17.1 to V5 and now every time I try to launch the game, the game crashes. I have figured out that it is related to shaderpack settings. Deleting the optionsshaders.txt file and then launching the game fixes the issue and shaders can be re-enabled, however after closing and attempting to relaunch, the issue returns and you have to repeat. I have tried BSL and Complementary. Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Also, I picked up the 1.17.1 version of Performant from Patreon and it works wonderfully with Better Minecraft 1.17.1 went from about 30ish FPS with Complementary on extreme to 60-70.

I've been running Optifine on 1.17.1 for 2 weekish without any issue at all until V5 so could just be one particular mod causing issues. I'll try and narrow it down tomorrow if I get some free time.

It seems to have trouble launching with shaders enabled. But works fine after enabling shaders. Until relaunch. Deleting that just deletes the Shader profile and you just have to reenable in the menu everytime you launch. Complementary and BSL both take like 3 minutes to load lol so its a pain but better than nothing

Install a fresh profile in the launcher of your choice with the new version.
Right click on both profiles and open folder (or equiv command)
Open Saves folder on both.
Copy world folder (default is 'New World') from old instance to new instance.
Optional: Copy the Xaeros folders found in the base folder too.
Fire up new instance. delete old when happy
