me and my friends are getting tired of vanilla so i tried to find some premium premade spigot setups and spent about 31$ on mc-market but these setups are full of errors, bugs, glitches, unbalanced. Very hard to get supports, yes ofc they have discord server but getting a reply is like 2 days later after creating support ticket and ended up not getting anything to work properly.

put one down in your base, and then right click and take crystal out

get to wherever, put 2nd one down, put that crystal into it

use the plate to go back to your base, place the 2nd crystal in 1st plate

voila. 2 way teleporting

steal some vein goblin traders from the nether and bring them to the overworld. You can name-tag them so they don't despawn. They have a 1 carrot : 1 emerald trade, up to 24 trades/emeralds per goblin

and auto carrot farms are pretty easy to set up, so emeralds are pretty free lol

pretty sure the goblins restock every 48000 ticks, which is like 40 mins -- so it helps getting a few of them. Picking them up and using warp plates makes it pretty trivial

and copy world across into that one

it sounds liek it didnt remove the old mod files before downloading new ones which is.. not right

but fresh profiles the best idea anyway due to the config changes sharkie mentions in the update notes

Figured it out
I had skipped some updates. I tried to go straight from v37 to v39
Re-doing it in order fixed it.

whats the armor progression in the modpack?

Regular -> Netherite -> Upgraded Netherite -> Abyss armor -> Crazy over the top abyss armor

With lots of side-grades pre-abyss

there a few options once you get above diamond tier, but it does all kind of lead towards abyss at the far end, which is why its locked away behind quests 🙂

Even in the slime biome

you can do stuff like block other spawns etc etc

but really, the unoritihe gear is OP enough

thats why every single upgrade says 'make a backup'

if you restore that backup and add variant before loading, it will all be there

more so the whole "we're not rolling back because the pack removed a mod that nuked your builds in particular"

it's just frustrating seeing packs remove things for superfluous reasons that can have a permanent impact

ive seen 2 people have issue with it being removed. also it uses a tonne less memory now thanks to its removal

yeah two people admittedly isn't much, I'm sure plenty of people prolly used parts of it and can replace the missing pieces with vanilla stairs and slab equivalents

I just used the alt blocks almost exclusively so my builds are all dead now

I didn't notice a massive ram difference personally, but I run with 8GB allocated and shaders so
