Those structures should still exist, they are just rare because the colored city is huge and has a lot of loot

The one at the bottom is 100% there because I have a giant mesa next to my spawn and I’ve seen at least 2-3 of them... I assume the top one is in the nether which I have been too chicken to explore much of yet... not seen the middle one before but in the grand scheme of the map, I’ve just not come across it... you’ll have to do a looot of exploring... my suggestion is, if you want to really explore loads, download a craftable elytra mod and make a pair to explore (it’s what I did and I 🙌🏼) or hatch a dragon egg and go fly (though they are harder to control and see stuff on the ground) ... walking everywhere will take you forever!! Oh and take lots of waystones so you can get home quickly to drop off stuff or place them as markers next to structures you want to raid at a later date when you’re not gunna die immediately (aka me 😅)!! Oh and fully upgraded backpacks with 2-4x stackable items is a must for all the hecka loot you’re gunna get!

Better mc in v22.5 had it and used version 0.5.2 instead of the most recent of 0.5.4. That's probably what's been causing terrible memory performance

So I recently started a server with your mod pack on aternos. In your Features list on the curseforge website it shows that the mod pack has xaero's minimaps as one of the mods but it isn't present in the server pack

Hey so I have a few server related questions, im likely gonna be starting up a bisect server with this modpack, will everyone who would be joining need to have the modpack installed on there end in order to play first? Along with any other additional mods that might be added into the pack?.
My second question has to do with the FTB Quests included in the modpack. Are they all client sided, and if thats the case if an op edits new ones or changes existing ones will it carry over for everyone or just that person?

you can add whatever you want, but most maps run client side only. there are some exceptions though

either way, anyone connecting would likely need the mod on their side too

whatever you customise on the server mod wise would likely have to be installed on clients too, unless its specifically for server side only. as for FTBQuests, i believe that would be server side only quests count. whatever is client side wouldnt be used

the servers dont (usually) look after mapping. eg i could add journeymap onto my client side and join anyones server still

Go on optifine website download optifine for 1.16.5 then right click in your modprofile of your modpack and click on open folder. Just drag optifine in there without opening it or anything.
For Sodium you do the same thing , first download the mod either with launcher or through curse website and then put it in the mods folder of your modpack BUT you need to delete performant (and if installed optifine, they are not compatible)

I'm trying to run a LAN game of Better Minecraft but the LAN button referred me to the FAQ area of this Discord server.

There's nothing about LAN play on the FAQ, but it directed me to open a ticket.

I did so, and the moderator who answered was completely unhelpful and told me off for apparently opening a ticket I shouldn't.

I've spent a couple of hours trying to get this modpack working only to be referred to FAQs that don't exist and mods who chide me for not having read something that isn't written anywhere.

Can anyone please tell me where I need to go to apply the fix to get LAN play working?

I'm very sorry if this is not the right place to ask or to go, but if you could then point me in the right direction that would be amazing because it is totally unclear where I'm meant to be looking!

The "Open to LAN" button has been replaced with a button saying "Open LAN [Join Discord for Fix #FAQ]"

So I came to the Discord and looked on the #FAQ and it's not mentioned.

Can anyone tell us what the fix is we need to do?

If you try to connect, you can actually join - it starts loading terrain and textures - but then the LAN host boots the player.

You have to wait a few days for it to be fully grown before you can put a saddle on it to ride it - you should be able to right click it (or shift right click it , i can’t remember which lol) on - I couldn’t ride it without a saddle when I tried so idk ... that’s just how I did it

do not jump in despite the advancement being called "Jump!"

you can do that from the console itself: op Shads

then you can jsut do /gamemode creative shads
