Ah, yeah the standalone filter is for when you have the backpack placed down and are using it with hoppers/pipes/etc. Each of the magnet and pickup upgrades have their own filters that deal with items while you are wearing it. The dragon you saw was probably a Naga, their behavior seemed weird me to but overal they should work correctly

Naga will only spawn in a couple of beach biomes (usually with cliffs IIRC?). They are easiest to find during the day when they can take up more of the spawn cap.

I should clarify that this is for the Mowzie's Mobs Naga

Twilight Forest Naga is a different thing all together

They have a pattern. Technically you can defeat them with very minimal armor and an iron sword... but it's tough. By endgame they are more of a nuisance.

Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone could help me out...i created a better minecraft forge server for my friend and I, and for whatever reason, our hunger bar depletes super quickly...is that a mod or something that I can turn off? Any info would be super helpful!

Endermen are harder to find in the pack. I'd recommend getting a cleric villager and trading him up until he will sell you ender pearls. It's a lot easier to get emeralds in the pack due to the large numbers of illager structures that spawn.

Ensure right amount of ram allocated. 8GB for all packs is ok if you have 12GB or more. see ︱faq for how to.
Remove SimpleRPC mod. Rollback FTBChunks to v46. Remove dynamicSurroundings. Remove Performant & optifine and then Install sodium-forge aka Halogen (See ︱faq for link) . Use GDLauncher https://gdevs.io/

If you don't care about shaders or connected textures, you can get a big performance boost by replacing performant and optifine with Halogen. It nearly doubled my already decent fps

It worked fine for me, but I had to use a clean install of the pack without optifine, and remove performant. You can't use a version of the pack that has had optifine in it already without crashing.

Yeah, you'll need a new instance within GDLauncher. But it's pretty easy, since you can search for the pack within the interface, and GDLauncher handles all the install steps for you

In GDLauncher you can actually disable the mods you don't want, which makes it a bit easier. You can right click the instance and click "Manage" to get to a screen where you can see the mod list. There is a toggle for each of the mods to disable them. I'd for sure disable performant and simpleRPC. The rest are up to you, but could help if you are still seeing problems with low fps.

for a server? sort of depends on number of people. I'd start with 5GB, and then increase if you see it struggling to keep up. If you are running it on the same PC you are playing on though you'll have trouble with 16GB total

If you want to run client/server on the same PC you could probably give 5GB to the server and 6GB to the client (in GDLauncher), and that might work. 5GB should be enough for a server of 2 people. I'd also recommend pregenerating the world so it doesn't lag hard when loading chunks.

abyss is pretty easy to start. Little grindy to get the void worm, but it's not hard to defeat with full netherite. Then just make a megatorch, bring it to the abyss, mine down to y11, place torch, and strip mine for unknown gems.

Ive only seen negative feedback over the use of Optifine in this modpack unless you have a beefy pc

Just know that the loading times when you launch the modpack and load your world are usually just long if that's what's been bugging you

what happened is that somethin basically took so long to calculate it hit a safetly limit and forced crashed

your world wouldda been acting strange 3 minutes before it crashed

I can give a little more detail on the weird block glitch- it seems to be interactive tile entities (chest, crafting table, bounty board- which on a side note seems unresponsive) and plants (carrots, certain flowers, certain ferns). However, it is not all of these- standard ferns, vines and crafting tables are untouched

Its also probably worth noting I did not notice this glitch yesterday on a single player world, but am finding it on a server- havent tested a single player world today though

There’s a lot, over 100 i think maybe? And I’m playing the forge 1.16.5 version and its got more mods in it (because not all mods are compatible with 1.17 yet so you get the fuller experience with 1.16.5) and all of the caves and cliffs blocks are in there

The world height/depth is the same as 1.16.5 but if you mine down to bedrock you can “mine through” certain bedrock blocks to go to the deeper dark with the warden etc

one in base, right click and take the crystal out

get to wherever, put 2nd plate down

put 1st crystal into it

put 2nd crystal into 1st plate, and voila, 2 way linked

Shads.. is there anywhere that all this modpack info is available to read? Partially so I don’t have to bug you about every single mod lol and so that I can really explore all the features? Cause theres sm mods but none of the wikis are really full with all the stuff the mod does

there isn't cos really its only sharkie that develops them, mods come and go from the pack and things are updated far too much to keep it anywhere near up to date
