Having problems with fps, its really laggy especially when i turn. I allocated 8 gigs and lowered all the settings for high fps and it kind of helped but its still not good im on a mac with plenty of memory and plenty of processors any help is appreciated (im pretty sure a lot of people have the same issue and its probably annoying to answer the same questions again sorry!)

give your pc a good going over and see if theres firmware/driver updates for your motherboard, gpu etc

check temperatures and that they are within spec

below 85 should be safe on any cpu in the last few years

Question about a better Minecraft server what does this necessarily mean

Xmx and Xms set the maximum and minimum RAM usage, respectively.

They can take any number, followed by an M or a G.

M means Megabyte, G means Gigabyte.

in the latest release i'm in the abyss and whenever i join my world i'm permanently in flying mode and nothing is loading (i.e. i can't eat, use, or interact with anything)
it also places me in the same spot every time i join after closing the game (which i have to do via task manager because the game won't save)

My advice would be to fire up a creative world and tinker with it. A lot of the upgrades (especially the void one) can be very frustrating to figure out without just tinkering with them.

I'm not sure which upgrade you made, but a lot of them have filters built in. I always use the pickup upgrade or the magnet upgrade and use their built in filters to set what the backpack gets.

@mystic flare Well the only thing I can think about is those underground dungeons that you can enter through a pit/well with flowing lava alongside. When you get down there there is a large room with a total of 4 spawners for Husk/Wither Skeleton, it gives a good amount of XP if you set it up right

use warp plates to carry them back to your base and yeah, reap the xp

i use warp plates at the bottom of the hole that skeles about to be pushed into to warp them upstairs to me

@turbid lynx What i personally did was getting Vein mining on a pickaxe with all the other enchants, went to the nether around y15, and mined in stack. then the netherite I got i'd trade with the nether goblin trader to get a little bit more. (5 pieces for 4 ancient debris i think) If you've already beaten the ender dragon you can make a special furnace with the materials you find on the end island(ore and ender pearls) which will give you 3 netherite bits instead of 2, increasing your total amount by 33%

Now im not saying those are the most efficient ways but you do get more netherite that way
