Not really. There are spawners that can give you pretty high xp per mob, but they don't spawn fast enough. You could try a vanilla zombie piglin farm, but those are pretty tricky to set up compared to enderman farms.

there are blocks you can make called pushers from stalwart dungeons

can use those to set up all sorts of farms without the usual need for water pushing

well, I got it. But I think it can only be applied to the unknown sword from the abyss. That's my working theory anyway. I haven't been able to apply it to any of my gear, and I don't have the unknown sword yet. 🤷

side note: Halogen is working great and I'm getting so much better FPS and load times, but NGL I do miss the connected textures and other visual flare provided by optifine.

This looks ok to me. I'm assuming there is water under the blocks under the pistons? How long did you wait for it to grow. It can take a while, and the chunk needs to be loaded unless you are in spawn chunks.

The new biomes are in the nether, so if you want to get the full nether experience I guess you could reset that dimension. But if you haven't done pregen in the nether I wouldn't bother.

Yes, if you put the gear in a gindstone then all enchantments are cleared. If you put it in the grindstone with a book, then the enchants are ripped to the book and the item is destroyed

Can I just say, the Simple Storage Network is the absolute best storage mod I've ever seen?
My first concern with the pack was that it didn't have Refined Storage, which is my usual go-to for storage mods. But SSN is 100% better- it combines both the enjoyment of making chest-storage rooms, as well as a very cheap option that reflects an infinite drive. Basically all your chests are organized into one block for access, yet you still have them literally.

Very smart choice on that part!

Then i went to the CurseForge app and installed "Better Minecraft [Forge] - 1.16.6" modpack and then launch the game from CurseForge app by pressing "play" on the modpack. When i try to connect to my server i get mod mismatch.. Any idea what could be wrong?

You'll want to use a launcher to get the client version of the pack

Some errors can be normal in packs. There are a lot of mods

I'd get a proper client set up first (with the same version as the server), and see if that connection works

I think you're going to run into problems no matter the pack if you aren't using a launcher to get the client version from curse. Server packs aren't meant to do double duty as clients, and the mod list and configs can be very different between the 2

speaking of optifine. which shader pack you guys use? I'm currently using complementary like they suggested but can't figure out the setting to make the moon red when bloodmoon comes

One problem with my game is that I’m getting decent FPS enough for my monitor but the game feels very choppy

why are shields so buggy in the offhand

it just appears when i right click with other items other than a sword

or just switching to a sowrd
