im playing in the 31.5 hf version

just a lot of cooked porkchop and some ultra op piglins, one of them droped a netherite sword almost broken and i found a netherite legging almost broken in an armor stand

but more than that nope, idk if there is a secret room or something like that

but the piglins are so op i wouldn't recommend going there, they can break blocks to get to you and they have so much health

you can create different types of fishing rods

you can enchant it with lure and luck of the sea

and you can put hooks that gives you more luck like the gold one

plus the goblin traders can give you luck of the sea 5 and lure 5

Yeah you want both lure and luck of the sea. Lure increases the rate at which you get bites (not necessarily just fish), and luck of the sea increases your chances of getting a rare item (books, bows, rods, neptunium, etc).

It still takes some grinding to get full neptunium though even with enchants

I got a question, that I don't know how odd or stupid it is... Let me preface by saying: I'm a complete noob to Minecraft, only played for 4 days ever and they were all this week, with this modpack.
I ended up installing 1.17.1, but later realized I would've probably wanted 1.16.5.

So my Question is: How horribly will I break things if I try to port my world back to 1.16.5? because right now I don't want to start over.
And are there any better options for how to adjust to the mods I want out of 1.16.5 for 1.17.1 on my current world?

1.17 uses new world generation, i think it might get really broken if you try to port it to 1.16

Yeah I think you'd have a much better experience by starting fresh. Not only is terrain gen different, but 1.16 has a bunch of mods that insert structures that add a lot to the experience. You'd miss out on those in any chunks that have already been loaded by the 1.17 version.

Hi all, quick question about starting a server with BMF 1.17.1 Forge.

I setup the server, installed the client, but the client doesn't see the server (it's on the same computer and I have port forwarding open to the correct IP on the router). Java is also allowed though the windows Firewall.

I've done this before with 1.16.5 on other modpacks and it works fine. Am I missing something? Thanks!

so quick question, I am trying to upload a custom pack, and I saw this pack was pretty big and being played, so I was wondering, HOW the hell did such a big pack get uploaded to curseforge? the scripts folder is too much for it to handle and the zip folder is too big? how big is your resulting zip. the profiles for BMC are about 20MB or so

presumably the aability to upload 700mb zips for server setups is something to do with being trusted, or verified or something to that nature, and might also be why you have a different limit? just random ideas
