Hi! I'm new around. I'm playing Better Minecraft with my girldfriend using Forge while sharing a map on LAN(she "hosts") on 1.17.1, and every once in a while(sometimes in 20min, sometimes in 1hour) her minecraft character stops moving, she can look around, open menus etc. But it's like the movement actions clump together and suddenly in a few minutes every action gets done instantly. Can't find anything online anyone has any idea? Thanks in advance!

villages have waystones you can quickly warp around to early on

setup first base near a village and try to visit as many as you can see

above ground villages only

Shift right click with an axe to vein mine trees, it should replant the sapling as well. This is different to vein mine enchantment.

There should be a block called an "overworld" something something, its near the bedrock on the roof. just break it with pickaxe, I think you wanna get back to the area you came from though. I teleported back once and died.

I may just have to start over with bm, I played on a server but the owner wanted the plus addition instead so after making it to midgame he deleted the server for the plus version. with the mending enchantment. With villager professions you can train a villager to trade enchantments using a lectern

as long as you dont trade with the villager, you can reroll which enchantment he sells to you by breaking and placing the lectern again (moving it with a sticky piston works as well)

a villager can trade you practically any enchantment at random, from sharpness I to efficency V

Is there any way around the blue skies early grind? I'm not a huge fan of the Blue Skies stuff. I dislike early game so when I keep seeing "this tool doesn't work as well here" its really frustrating since I spent a good bit of time getting good enchanted netherite gear and its basically making me mine up from nothing again for no reason beyond "my dimension is special"

your bow is not affected by the nerf, and nerfed armor is still very powerful. I defeated both the alchemist and summoner with an unknown armor set from the abyss mod and a netherite bow with power V

my bow is affected by the nerf still (using enchanted witherite bow). Tested it between the dimensions and it does very little to the same mob in the everbright.
Armor still does well like you said with all the enchantments. Just killed the summoner but it was really slow. Did find an aqua sword just before the fight but i ran in without enchanting and used basically all of its durability.

Yeah, its a little tedious but, mining for the materials is less taxing than mining netherite. If the nerf is too much, I would recomend you to make at least a Horizonite sword and put unbreaking on it.
I found the fight easy with a netherite bow. its the exploring what is super taxing for me. I am pretty much at end game now, but I can't find the place for the starlit crusher from the blue skies mod.

Is anyone else having issues with the mod pack? Last couple days it's been crashing after 1-5 minutes of loading my world. Only mod I've installed myself is tinkers construct. I use shaders but it's crashing without it being on also. Any help appreciated

yep something that bear is doing is causing the crash. wont crash until you go to wherever that bear happens to be too. fortunately it also means an admin can just kill that bear off.. but not entirely sure how to do that

depends on the launcher, but in GD launcher i right click the instance, go into mods, find the mod i want and upgrade it

you can also just manually download it and chuck it into the mod folder of the instance, removing the old version

well, i tend to start at the bottom and scroll up to where the error first started as its often pages of debug info

theres also a specific crash report folder if its able to make one of those before bombing out
