New discovery: Had a bow drop from a wither skeleton archer in the cursed realm that had unbreaking V, Power V, mending AND infinity on it. It can be used as a base bow for any of the Netherite Fusion variants offered in the "Upgraded Netherite" mod

So the bow now looks like this:

The best way I've found is using the Axe of Rectitude to get the mogul trade buff for 20 mins and then trade with piglins. With that buff, you can trade 1 heart of the sea for 1 netherite ingot

I think you hold a gold block in your offhand and right click the piglin with the heart of the sea in your main hand. He'll disappear for 10 seconds then reappear and drop a netherite ingot

I THINK you initiate the trade buff by right clicking with the axe, and it consumes it. Its wonky animation wise

also, the piglin will have a 10% chance to react poorly to the trade and return with hostile reinforcements, so be careful

OP is hard to quantify since I found it after being at endgame level stuff. The mobs are tankable in mergon gear and the drop rate of 30% might be high, but there's several mobs that are just straight up immune to Range so I don't know that its really OP

I was looking to play lan with this modpack, and it says I have to remove the Antique atlas and waystone mod. Why? I've played with other people with these mods before on a LAN server

Trying to finish all the nether quests, but I can't seem to get credit for killing the awful ghast. I've summoned and killed him twice at two separate altars. Not sure what is preventing the quest reward

Update: Spawned a third with a creative egg and killed him with a sword instead of a bow. Quest Completed. Not sure what was the problem.

Hypothesis: Bow was originally the Reward bow from Cursed Realm's towers that comes with Mending/Infinity/Unbreaking V, then fused with Ultermite from the Upgraded Netherite Mod. Maybe the game was not registering the kill from this weapon since it came from one of those two mods?

I found one earlier today. The Maudit himself was at y 50, but his dungeon had a lot of verticality to it. After double checking, its walls were actually visible from the surface. A blend of mossy cobble, diamond, and other ores.

thank you for this tip, might be that I overlooked it. Was digging everywhere at y 10-20 with his healthbar at the top of my ui, thought I was going crazy ;;

He was really far away from me when the health bar popped up and it took 30 mins of searching random directions until I noticed he was UP and not down, since I was around y 15 or so when I was looking. I'm not sure if that will always be the case, but that's what worked for me. Knowing what I know now, I'd try scanning the surface when the health bar pops up and see if you get lucky and can see the dungeon roof.

Seemingly confirmed: Boss Kills with Bows are not counting towards quest completion. (Tested on Awful Ghast and Naga bosses in survival and creative) Sword kills do work, so if you are finishing your quest log, make sure you last hit with a sword for now.

hey everybody, I've been playing with this mod for a little while now and I just found a golden pick with Efficiency V, Fortune VIII (Not a typo), and curse of vanishing... is this just a troll of a pick? I've found one of those, use it with a grindstone + book and transfer it to a diamond/netherpick and just accept that you'll lose it if you die. Still a really good boon while it lasts.
