Yeah I have a kinda crappy computer so I had some troubles with ram space and I ended up losing a world from the levitated modpack that I was literally about a week away from 100% it and my first better Minecraft world and a sevtech world that I spent 4 months on because I didn't back them up to a drive and I had to restore my computer to factory to get it to work again. Like that was the only thing that worked. It sucked so bad but now I backup my world daily, copy it to a 2tb storage drive and set up a new restore point daily. I won't lose anything again

Quick question for you guys. I'm having a couple of users who disconnect at strange times. A couple of them disconnect upon initial login and have to try a couple times. I have another user who disconnects every time they die, specifically. And when they do the server doesn't end their session and they stay "logged in" for a few minutes until it finally realizes they disconnected. Once it finally disconnects the ghost user they can reconnect.

Anything sound familiar to anyone? If so any known fixes?

anyone else having issues with enchantments disapearing/degrading randomly on better minecraft on their servers? It's been happening to everyone on the server where our enchantments would randomly dissapear/degrade (Ex. my zombie piglin farm built at build limit above nether is only spawning 6 to 8 mobs every 10 to 20 seconds. I have done some spawnproofing below bedrock as well. I know this farm is much more efficient on a unmodded server. No other players are online to take up mob cap either. Have the rates been changed or max number of zombie piglins lowered? Hello guys, I have a problem with connecting to the server via Forge. I bought a hosting server, without any mods I am able to log in to it through Forge. The moment I add mods and all of the required files to the server I immediately get the pop up in the forge client "Unexpected custom data from client". Anyone knows what may be causing this?
What's weirder, when I turn on the curseforge and try to log in through this it works.

Trasher mob from Upgrade Aquatic is currently really super broken. It stunlocks you until you die... no way to escape... if you got good enough armor and unlimited breath (aquatic armor e.g.) then you wont escape ever until you get tp'd ... whoever did this mod deserves a medal for fucking up.

people on the same wifi as the server host can join fine using the IPv4 but nobody outside of the network has been able to join

Well you've sent me a client log and a server log and this is literally the only mod mentioned and it seems to be shitting itself

I shouldnt need to port forward anything right? because I feel like if the issue was with a mod not working the server would at least show up as running.

sometimes when the serverpack doesn't work you could try port forwarding as a last resort

I have tried that though and it doesnt seem to work either. unless I did it incorrectly which might be the issue. My routers interface is confusing and pretty different than others.

the server wouldnt show up as working because it wouldve crashed because the server cant work with that mod that doesnt work
