I created a my server hosting at my friend's PC, like the #faq tutorial. But i still can't connect. It is frozen at this screen until it gets timeout.

Could you try disabling the firewalls both on your and your friends end? Otherwise the only other thing I could think of after that is your connection timing out due to your connection in which case you'd need to increase the connection timeout time

To me and if you search anywhere online the thing that is the problem is the server and your modpacks arent on the same version and theres nothing else I can do to help if oyu say thats not the case, best is to wait for a new update i guess.
Also I have said in the description of my modpack that im doing this as a hobby, I barely make money off this and do it all in my spare time. I dont have a team of developers like the top guys do.

I just had a quick questions, the xaero's minimap and xaero's world map no longer work together in this modpack together like they previously did.
I can only get one of them working at a time (currently just the minimap, going to take it out and see if the world map works without the minimap)
The main problem is when i press m both open i think so i rebound the world map and minimap to separate buttons

I have 32gb of ram, with a CPU overclocked at 4.5ghz, with 8 cores

I've seen mods that get stuck on a loop and basically capture a thread until the server crashes, it might be best to report that to the mod author

it's an actual server , not just LAN

port forwarding makes computers act as if they were on the same network , that's how the data is transmitted between the client pc and the host pc

in this case , the server is hosted on your actual pc on the internet , not just a local network

I was wondering if anyone can help me I'm having a problem with my "better Minecraft" (V23.5) where no matter what I do can't seem to get rid of stuttering every few seconds I'm running at 200 FPS but it looks like I'm running at 25, I have 9 GB of allocated memory I've tried lowering it and it changes nothing, I do have OptiFine installed but other than that I haven't downloaded any other mods that didn't come with the mod pack. if anyone else has had this problem please help ❤️

I asked earlier too without any help, but maybe someone that can help reads it now 🙂
Whenever I drop an item (throw it at a friends, loot from animals/trees/..., blocks that have been mined...) it goes invisible. I can still pick it up by guessing where they fell, but the items on the floor aren't visible. Only have the better minecraft mod installed, had no issues before.

Anyone has the same or knows a solution? Thank you :3

All good. I have a mob farm that I created using two blaze spawners, a skeleton spawner and a witch spawner that I carried from different places and I want to have the kill chamber be able to hold loads more mobs so when I go kill them I get loads of xp
