well when people constantly complain they get stutters or why their frames are low or why they have trouble running it cause they leave the allocated ram at 4gb, it really just depends on your specs, I can run the pack on 4gb's but that doesnt mean players with bad specs are able to. We have told people they can try using less ram if they can with their 8gb but its always that they cant because they dont have enough ram when is maxes out and you might be able to play it fine on 2gb but after 30mins ot an hours your on singleplayer your ram will max out

I figured out why the Anvil problem was happening. For reference if anyone else came here to search for a fix or answers.

If you ever get enchanted books from chests and dungeons, they will never combine with your tool for some reason. You can only combine regular enchanted books that you make from the enchantment table. Hopefully dev will look more into why and help the rest of us out! Hope this helps anyone else looking for answers

Hey. I'm getting "incomplete set of tags received from server minecraft better minecraft" every time when I try to join the server. My client and server are both v22.5 and I tried to reinstall both of them. Even after comparing all the mods and versions, and moving mods from client to server, I'm still getting this error. I tried method in #general and it still did not work.

Based on my Searches here, not sure if is should be a bug or feature, or just something worth noting: The better weather mod in this pack will freeze entire oceans and generate entire landscapes with snow if you load a chunk for the first time during winter. It leads to maps looking like this:

I have server running a world generated in 19.5 and now updated to 22.5. In 19.5 and even after update the server sometimes freezes. You can stay in the server, but cannot do anything and if you leave you'll be stuck at connecting. The server does not crash and the only solution seems to be to kill the server and restart. Is there a fix for this?

The only lines in console after a freeze are from voicechat when people try to reconnect.

You might need to allocate more RAM, I had this issue and gave Minecraft more RAM and the freezes stopped

also I didn't really catch the installation process.. so I couldn't install it with a CurseForge app and downloaded the server pack and the 20mb one separately. I tried running the server as said in README but neither of us couldn't join it and we really didn't get which IP we should join and how.
so right now I just copypasted the entire server pack folder into my minecraft folder and tried running it like that. that information was just to clear the whole point if necessary...

A mod named Pyromancer is the one causing the item not stacking, and it has been removed in the latest version

You can uninstall, it should make it normal, maybe double check if they can spawn, check difficulty maybe try spawning some in. If it's affecting farms then you can uninstall it, only thing is it is a performance mod so expect worse performance.

Does this modpack have the Passible Foliage mod or snow! real magic mod? If not is there a place I can suggest mods? Passible Foliage is compatible with all modded trees so long as their leaves are identified as leaves, and S!RM adds something that should be part of vanilla: basic bedrock snow physics and snow placement around and on top of abnormal block shapes like stairs, on fences, under fences, etc.

The Passable foliage mod allows you to move through tree leaves (which is very helpful in dense forests and makes dark oak forests actually scary), makes leaves slow fall damage, and adds a new enchantment to move through leaves like Scaffolding.

@idle steppe Go to bedrock. There will be carpet-like blocks on the bedrock. If you destroy it, you go to the deep dark. It's essentially just a cave with some enemies. It seemed kind of lackluster to me

That would work, other people would have to connect to.your Hamachi room, but I noticed when I set up my mc server the other day, although it's hosted dedicated server, I had to manually allow the ports through the firewall which could be your problem possibly if port forwarding did nothing

You would have to Google that, I can't remember if it's the same on windows 10 as it is on windows server. But normally you can search firewall in start menu and the first one is it then there's a button for advanced settings on the side of the window that pops up

Basically means it's not reachable to the internet because it's a LAN server it won't be available on WAN

You would have to be on his network via hibachi, or he would have to run a server and port forward. Or himachi and run a server
