I tried it with v19.5 and still doesn't generate anything in the negative y axis. I tried it with optifine G7 and without optifine. I added "ftb library" for jei and switched versions of jei to [...].90 , cause the newer versions don't recognize the library.

4gb is usually the bare minimum for modded servers, this pack should be able to run on 6gb

There's a certain bug on my server when a player drops an item to an another item it doesn't stack with the other players items. It also occurs when taking out items from a furnace.

Bugs/Oversights I've seen so far:
Not every ore variant mined turns into raw ore.
Minecart chests found in mineshafts duplicated when I broke them with an iron sword with smite 3 OR they were already duplicated and spawned on top of each other when the world generated. (EDIT: This also appears to affect armor stands and anything on them)
Items of the same type sometimes do not stack.
Iron Pressure Plates have no texture.

Just recently installed Better Minecraft FORGE and have been tooling around for a while. Had to restart a new world after an attempt to re-name a Waystone resulted in my picking it up and not being able to put it down...

But now in my second world I have a more problematic issue... I made it down to bedrock level, and some of the bedrock layer are called "Deep Dark Stack" or something like that.... "breaking" one causes it to start loading a new dimension. But it never STOPS loading and actually lets me in the dimension.

I restarted, and the world loaded in overworld with the block I had hit to get sent to the deep dark replaced with bedrock. I tried hitting a new spot, and once again stuck in loading screen.

The blocks are all underwater, if that matters in any way.

Pinned tips seem to be out of date... says to make a backpack for lots of slots. I see only two backpacks available, the one I made was a different recipe and only gave 9 slots. The other is disabled due to not having a mod which wasn't in the pack by default.

make sure you do not have any effect on you that messes with your visuals when entering as it seems that can break it. however I know that on some servers, entering the dimension stopped people on first enter but not after the first time.

I am on single player, not a server. Pretty sure I have no visual effects on me, but I can try again with all armor removed. My only non-vanilla enchants are shockwave and vengeance

Alright... I loaded into the Deep Dark almost instantly this time. I took off my armor, but I also cleared the water from the tile I struck and the tiles I was standing in. Not sure which fixed it. May be worth testing if underwater transport is wonky

A special red plant that grows near water underground. Wild variations are gonna be single block plants which offers a few leaves to be used for making kobold potions while Kobold Villages will have crimson vines that grows from the ceiling, making them renewable as long as you don't harvest them all. It's something I didn't do for the potion update because I wanted to make sure that it would be renewable first before release.

So ended up using crimson fungus from the nether for now as a replacement until I complete the Kobold Village.

so i'm trying to get it running with MultiMC

i downloaded it from https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/better-minecraft-modpack/files/3336903

and created a 1.16.5 instance on witch i installed forge, optifine, optiforge

then added the zip i got from the download as a mod

Just use the curseforge app, it's literally click and play, also you do not need optiforge

Why would you need to install forge if you're importing it from the zip file you installed from curseforge? It download everything including forge and as Nut said, you don't need optiforge

You can probably get it running with multimc, but like I said with curseforge it's click and play, click to update

Everything is done in the curseforge launcher, all you need to do is look for the pack, install it and then play it when it's done. No editing is needed

What you are supposed to do is download it and the create a NEW instance using the downloaded ZIP

hey guys I started using this modpack on bisect today and I noticed that a lot of vanilla recipes are gone. is this intentional? things like wood tools are craftable but stone tools and chests can only be crafted using limited modded wood/stones. thanks!
