well then you have to contact them and ask them why it doesnt work and for the serverpack, you arent meant to install all the files. Install forge 1.16.5 36.1.4 and then drag then install the files expect the installer

yeah perfectly understandable man. one thing I've noticed tho in a few different playthroughs was missing textures of iron pressure plates and the middles of some fences, not sure if that's normal or not but maybe this fresh install will fix that all up, I've just noticed for the last 2 versions though

For it to stop is basically 1.17 comes out and all the mods shift over there. so it probs will never end. But then again new updates dont always mean a new world

I'm having an issue with this pack that likely has to do with java, if anyone thinks they can help. I have very low fps in both single player and server worlds, much more than should be expected. I've run much beefier packs such as MCEternal in the past without issue, and I doubt this has anything to do with my computer specs. I've only tested this modpack for the fps issue so far, but I know that it doesn't occur in vanilla.
I recently uninstalled a bunch of unused programs from the control panel, and I apparently uninstalled java by accident. I've tried a number of things after reinstalling it, including reinstalling/updating my graphics drivers, switching to x64 java (my computer is x64, I initially installed the wrong version), allocating more memory (around 7000mb), using both GD Launcher and Curse Forge, and reinstalling my computer multiple times in the process. I don't understand them very well, but the one crash report I have contains a number of question marks accompanied with version numbers for something. If anyone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it.

For anyone interested, I just had a prolonged talk with BisectHosting staff concerning an issue with constant stack overflow (server would close almost immediately after a player joined) We tried everything from region fixer to forge config. Turns out the issue was the scarecrow from "Rediscovered", so just wanted to let any developers or admins know just in case this issue comes up with anyone else in the future.

I reached out to BisectHosting support about the lag on my server, and it runs fine if you overlook the latency when breaking blocks, mobs moving, etc. They adjusted some settings for the server startup, I restarted it, and it seems to be performing a little bit better, but it's definitely trying my patience. Bisect support said there wasn't much else they could do, and many other people have been reporting the same issue with this modpack.
I saw what the admin was saying earlier about adding Optifine, does that typically improve connection problems as well...?

I don't see why you're holding any other button than right click while eating, but the dismount can be configured under controls.
The first part where you freeze sounds like a hardware issue together with the fact that the internal server are sending you data.

I don't hate it or anything, but for some reason minecart chests are all duped for me. Like I walk up and touch it and two move away. Duplicate loot in both. I don't mind per se, but figured someone might want to know.

This is just when I'm out world exploring, it doesn't repeatedly happen for the same minecart.

i think i only changed 2 settings and then had to just change some builds in game as for some reason spawning was different and mobs would despawn quicker than normal so my farm didnt work and couldnt seem to find the config to change it

if you change a config for example you can do /reload and it will reload the server files so you dont have to stop and restart
