You can't completely disable it, but you can just not sneak if you don't want to use it, or change your config file if there's something specifically you want to do.

I switched the jar from BetterMinecraft 1.16.5 to a custom Mohist server jar alongside it to try to add plugins and it messed everything up. I'm hearing from other people that Mohist doesn't run well with certain modpacks, and I guess my question is does anyone know if Mohist works with it or is it a lost cause to try to add it again?

It's made to be compatible with most forge mods not all, the corruption might be residual files or the crashing stems from the wrong forge version.

Normally, for a modpack of this size, i'd suggest about 4-8 gigs, just to be safe. you can get away with less, but you could run into issues.

Don't click anything or tab out while it's loading, you're crashing it yourself.

If a program is not responding, especially Minecraft, it just means it’s loading from the computers side. Just be patient. Clicking won’t hurt but it also doesn’t make it faster.

Well recently it stopped, or I assumed was happening far enough away that I was no longer triggering them.

After my screen refused to do more than .5 FPS and they accidently slaughtered most of their own by the circular explosion of horsemen it created. Here's the aftermath.
