I have figured out exactly what causes the issue. Phanterite pickaxes give the glowing effect to nearby entities, and the Scarecrow from Rediscovered seems to not like that effect for whatever reason. The update for Upgraded Netherite does not solve the issue though.
This is for sure an issue with Rediscovered, not with Upgraded Netherite.

and i looked through the ring crafting recipies and none of them have the souls. i found that in jei, the mutated enderpearl has no texture

and the only way to stop that stupid ass issue is saving and quiting but saving and quiting doesn't even work half the time

well since its a corrupted chunk, you can either backtrack and see if it keeps your world from not freezing, the only problem is that it will always be corrupted
so going there will always freeze the game
I would recommend to wait for next version that would probably be the most stable
for BMP of course

So I've got a weird issue lately, that's honestly unnerving. I have a brazier outside my house, but occasionally (every 30 minutes or so it seems) a trapped skeleton spawns in my house.
It's the only mob that spawns in my house.
And it always results in a lightning strike in an otherwise fairly quiet and peaceful location and then me getting honed in on by skeletons when I'm just dressed in my casual farming gear (nothing).
Thoughts?
To be clear, the mobs are "dungeons_mob:skeleton_horseman" and their horses.
Also, goblins will never accept the enchanting books. So those recipes never work for me 😦

The faster you can get the mobs out of the spawning range, the better your rates will be. Each spawner has a cap of how many mobs can be nearby

Did you install the server pack on the server? If not just take out the "Antique Atlas" mod

you probably enabled resourcepacks that were disabled, they only should be enabled if you are using optifine

Hit e, look for the gear and compare.
Netherite for a lot of raw stats is better armor, but the tungsten and neptunian tools seem better.

Go to the optifine site and download U7 , then add the jar file you just downloaded to your mods folder

Hello, I just downloaded the better minecraft modpack, one part is i cannot download optifine for one part, but also i have my view distance at around 20 plus and it defiantly now showing the right distance. any reason why its only showing like 9 chunks at most?

What happens if you add the optifine.jar file to your mods folder
And the chunk thing is most likely from your pc
Unless you have a nasa computer you shouldn't put it above 10 usually

That's normal , extreme TPS spikes like that happen quite alot in modded minecraft
Sometimes after a while it un-freezes and the bar starts going again and your chunks will load as well
Everything you do after it freezes doesn't count so you should restart most of the time
Unless you're ready to wait a few minutes and pray it loads
Best thing to do when u want it to un-freeze is to just not do anything because any action adds even more to the buffer which makes it take longer

quark has a setting that makes diorite/granite/andesite spawn in big clusters

Hrm, I checked the config, I'll look in the diorite cluster biomes and see if there's any there.
I mean, under my house it's basically lush/clay to deepslate. Difficult to mine for resources as it is.

gday, has anyone experienced issues with the modpack not recognising that optifine is in the mods folder?
