Yeah, one thing as well to remember is that their pathfinding as well as mob pathfinding in general can sometimes struggle with multi-floor setups, I would recommend testing to see their limits if the mod doesn't specifically mention before building in survival

I just try to capture a vein goblin, I have 5 cages in my main hand, i capture the goblin, I have 4 more in my off-hand. Now I have the total of 9 cages, including the one used.

How do you get the eye of ender/greater eye of ender to point to the better stronghold

because whenever I set the GEoE to the stronghold, the game just stops letting me interact with anything in the game and I get forced to kill minecraft via task manager/mmc.

The vanilla eye of ender though, just points in a line forever (Spent hours travelling 5k blocks only to find out that it was kinda bugged and the actual stronghold was in a mountain a few hundred blocks away from my base)

Hello, just joined because i have a question, are mending books possible to get from librarians in the latest version (v16.5 forge)? Well the error can be caused by many issues so don't expect too much here

ive already said, the only reason that is showing is cause either your modpack isnt the right version as the server and vise versa or the mods are different

99% of the time people say they have the right version/same mods and then eventually they find out they are wrong

Killing the server instead of rebooting fixed it, the issue seems to have been the greater eye of ender, using it compeltely freezes the server

Not sure if it’s the right chat or not, but I am trying to set up a better Minecraft modded server for me and my friends and I’ve run into an issue. I am able to launch the server and it shows up when I search it locally in my server list, but whenever I try to join it I get an error message that says “mismatched mod channel list” and I saw a forum page that said to replace the mod and config files In your server with the modern config files from your launcher but when I tried that the server wouldn’t launch anymore :/
I remade the server files as they were before but if anyone else has experience this issue I’d really appreciate the help🙏🏻

If they update to a new version that removed mods, when loading the world it automatically removes the blocks. So no need to add the mods back. The only reason that, that is showing is due to then not having the right files meaning, not the right version, or someone has different fikes

I figured out how my problem occurs but still cannot fix it.
When I trade with a villager and it fills the xp bar, the game does the freeze and indef. crashes the game.

How much ram do you have allocated? Random crashes without a log are more of a ram thing then a modpack issue. If it were an issue with one of the mods - you should get a crash log.

I'd probably say allocate 4gb minimum, i have 8gb on my curseforge and it runs no issues. Peep #︱faq to allocate more

I had the idea that I could bring shulkers with me in a backpack, just empty ones. Then fill those up with items as I travel and gather items. Then place the shulker down and break it with the enderite pickaxe to have it teleport to my home into a chest where I can sort it later.

The endersack only lets you access your ender chest, which you can already do just by having an ender chest in your inventory. Similar to crafting tables

Whenever my friend logs into my server I crash and he gets disconnected. Here's the server and client logs respectively:

From reading the logs I have gathered that there is something about his player data (perhaps an effect) that is not supposed to be. I have thought about going in NBT Explorer to try and edit his player data to see if he has a potion effect, if so, removing it.

Do mushrooms not destroy blocks anymore? I know they still do in 1.16.5, but they dont in the modpack. There's probably some config option to fix this but I dont know what mod adds this feature

By destroy blocks i mean when you grow them, they destroy replace blocks that were in the way, ie using mushrooms to get rid of end portal frames or end gateways

I have a weird issue

after some time

most of the nether mobs

stop spawning

like, first time I got into the Nether there were ghasts, those soul dudes and all that

but after some time I noticed

that only the mushrooms, magma cubes and piglins are left
