I'm guessing sharkie wants you to make a new profile with better minecraft, click the 3 dots next to play, click versions, choose the right version, and tick the little box that say update to new profile.

Because if you try to tab or click it while it's loading it will crash java

It' s because the leafcutter ant are disabled to prevent lag, it's nothing to worry about.

I think i have just about the same bug that a lot of people seems to have where the thing just crash for some magical reasons.

So basically my game crashes when i want to join a world either solo or multiplayer it doesn't matter

what i tried so far :

reinstalling the modpack 5 times
reinstalling the minecraft launcher (removing my .minecraft in %appdata%)
reintalling curseforge 2 times
restarting my computer
i updated java to the latest version

So I had added the mod, there seems to be much little lag now, are there any arguments I should use when starting up my server in the command line to also reduce lag aswell as the performant mod?

If you're running it off your PC WIndows takes 2gb to run the OS, MC takes about 6GB with mods or maybe more, so your left with about 8GB to run it unless its on a different tower.

How do I get colors and lore for my tools? I tried editing it in NBTExplorer but it doesn't work.

you have to trade with overworld goblin traders

make sure you craft cages to keep the goblins, also you need dragon heads to trade for the enchants like sharp 6, fortune 4, etc.

Something like adding lore or customizing your tool's name with colours and the likes.

Since we can't use § anymore, but instead use the JSON code. But I tried editing those in NBTExplorer and changed nothing. Since all of those changes will be reverted once I go back into the world.

I already got Fortune V and Unbreaking V from the goblin, so I just wanted to change the name and lore to make it special.

And I needed help with that, not the use of command blocks, but NBTExplorer.

Shouldn't be, I edited the most recent player DAT file from the save. I edited the world first, change the value to how I wanted it to be, then got back into the world. Saves are easier to be edited than mod configurations.

Which, you know, had you to restart the game from the launcher.

If you're doing it with the game running you could be creating a bunch of backupfiles instead of changing anything

You could update the pack, but that would require a new world but the updated versions have fixed a lot of the tps issues.
Adding performant to the server would help.
I keep mine restarting every 6 hours.

It's happening because nothing else is loaded and no other mobs are spawning, the game is spawning in endermen until it has reached the mob cap, that's usually what people do when making an enderpearl/exp farm.

So you could have 70 endermen spawning in before the stop

Most likely they're just not getting enough room to spawn and other mobs can take up slots in that cap, the spawn of every world is allways loaded and therefore any mobs at spawn will add to the spawn cap.
Most endermen farms have multiple layers to give them room.

If you're getting that error it means you're either not on the same version as the server or you don't have the same mods.

If you're going from v15.5 to v16 you should be fine

Realistically you should be more than fine with 8, if you set a world boarder and pregenerate what's withing the boarder you should be more than fine.

Hi, for some reason during world generation many trees in snowy biomes generate without a block connecting to the ground. All of these trees have snow on the dirt below.

Happens to me as well, only for birch trees on snowy biomes tho.

oo this seem to not be a problem in the snowy tundra biome with the spruce trees, but this happens to the larger trees as well and it is kinda throwing me off seeing an entire forest of floating massive trees.

so, what happens currently is I start the game, load the save

then I travel for some time

eventually (10-30 min) chunks generation begins to slow down

and in a few seconds stops entirely

as is everything else

updated to v16 and moved my save there

I can launch the pack fine but when I add opitfine It freezes at the last second before the menu. The newest line in the log is
